There is a little hole under the tray towards the right hand side. Straighten out a paper clip and push it carefully into that hole and the tray should unclip and pop out a short way.

My miele electric cooktop will not stay on after I trip the circuit.

Without more info this is difficult to answer. I will say that all cooktop's have thermal overload switches built into them. They open the circuit until it all cools down and they then close the circuit and reset. You begin using it again and bang it opens again and no power. This means you have a short circuit or a bad overload switch. If you are tripping the circuit breaker, you likely have a short circuit, which is why it is tripping the breaker. I would not keep resetting it, if this is the case. The more you blow or open the breaker the weaker it becomes. They open to prevent an electrical fire, which you do not want.

Eurolec gas hob piezo ignition is constantly arcing. How can this be stopped without turning off electric supply ?

You can't service it without the power off, that arch is many thousands of volts. More than likely the igniter points are eroded and need to be adjusted for the proper gap.

Hotpoint induction hob wont turn on

Check power supply at socket or meter box. Make sure that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Also, induction cooktops wont heat without induction cookware. They must be steel. Glass cookware wont work on an induction cooktop.

In this model of gas cooktop is the gas regulator inside the cooktop or outside? I got a open box deal without the gas reg. and wonder if it is inside or if I have to order one?

Hi,
On most cooktops the regulator is installed externally and is not includes... if it is there it will be right on the pipe that you hook the gas too...

Neff T1722SO Ceramic Hob - rings don't heat

Check the power supply to make sure it is getting 220V, the lights etc might still work if only getting 120V but burner won't without full power supply.

Viking Gas Burner issue?

is this a sealed burner unit? if so the burner base (the heavy brass part under the burner cap) has to be sitting just right. you will notice that it has holes around the the sides make sure that where your ignitor sparks to it that it aligns with the lowest hole on the burner base. if you have a great flame all around the burner after checking what i mentioned i would replace the spark module. if it continues to drive you crazy with the noise - just unplug it. the burners will continue working fine without power.
