I have a Marantz turntable, a Marantz CD player, an Eltax tape player and a Marantz amplifier with two Cambridge speakers, how do I assemble them into a stack system please ? Thank you

All the sources, turntable, CD player and tape unit have an output. These should go in the input of the amplifier with the same name. Then only the Tape player, could have an input, for recording music or whatever. For that input, your amplifier should have an tape out. All these should be connected with cables with tulip plugs, like these.

Use the white for left on everything and red for right.
If one of the devices as a different connector, find a cable for audio, with on one end the tulip plugs and on the other end the fitting plug.
Then the output of the power amplifier it should say output or LS, can be connected with 2 wires going to the speakers.
For this the same counts, although it is difficult to see when you use electrical wires in one colour. What comes out red on he amp, should go on the same screw connector on the speaker. Just to avoid one speaker being out of phase. It will work, but could sound a little strange when the speakers are out of phase.
With the correct model names added, perhaps we could have given a more accurate answer.

Success.
Please don't test the system or switch on, with the volume button to the max. Don't switch anything on an amplifier when the volume is high, or the setting is high. A short increase of the volume, during switching can, and has very often destroy(ed) the speakers.

I would like a stacking kit for miele Touchtronic W4842 thank you

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry but this forum does not supply parts direct; it's just made up of ordinary guys and gals, probably at home, with experience of addressing problems and giving guidance for free on the web ;-0)
Spares Suppliers
You will need to type into your search engine/web browser '(make) washer spares' and you should be presented with a number of sources from which you can order. During the process you will be asked for the actual model number.
Alternately you could try telephone directories for spares suppliers but I would think the former would be more successful.
Good luck,
John C

I've moved the computer & monitor to a new office & when all is connected up I get the message No Signal Input, check video cable, but all cables ie power & cable to computer are plugged in.

Make sure your monitor cable is screwed in on both ends. It is possible that your cable was damaged during moving, check for bent or missing pins on both ends of the plug.

Fsm750s 48 port - we had ports 9,10,11,12 go out in a storm - can they be repaired? power on/off didn't reset - going into the Netgear via IP and disabling and enabling also did not work

Unfortunately, nothing to be done other than replace it if you need the ports. You could in theory replace the chip or chips that got burned up but it would probably not be worth it and it it's an ASIC(likely) you'll probably not even be able to source it.

Blinking light on NetGear FS108

One LED is a Link light that will blink on activity.
The other shows link speed.
These boxes have AutoUplink negotiation so no crossover cables are required.
Test again with a standard straight though ethernet / CAT5 cable.

Netgear FE108 connections

You must configure the other PCs in the same IP range of the netgear. fexample: if the netgear ip adress is 10.0.0.1 then the other PC should have an IP like 10.0.0.x (x = any number from 2 to 254)

Stacking Cable / SuperStack3 3870

Found this on 3Com website: The SuperStack 3 Switch 3870 family (3870-24 and 3870-48) can stack up to 8 units high. Stacks can be formed with any combination of 24-port and 48-port units, with a maximum of 384 (8 x 48) front panel ports supported. When connected together, a stack of units is managed as a single entity. All units in the stack need to run the same release of the operational version code (firmware). When units are stacked together, they operate in a master-slave relationship. One unit acts as a Master and the other units act as slaves. When looking at a stack of units, the master can be identified by looking at the Stack Master LED on the left side of the switch. The Stack Master LED is green for the Master. If the unit numbers are out of sync, go to the CLI command that allows users to re-number their units- system / control / renumber. This will re-number the units in the stack. It will take about a minute or two. The master is the only unit that has a visible command line interface (CLI) when a console cable is connected to it. If you connect the console cable to a slave unit, you will not see the CLI menu, but instead see slave status messages being displayed. The Master unit may not be unit 1. http://knowledgebase.3com.com/consumer/esupport.asp?id=GUIDbfa9caa4%5F138f%5F4681%5Fbaaf%5F5c99ec5b7ff4&resource=&number=0&isExternal=0&nShowFacts=&nShowCause=&nShowChange=&nShowAddInfo=&activepage=statement.asp&bForceMatch=True&strCurrentSymptom=3C17462&searchtype=normal&searchclass=&bnewsession=false&selecttype=match
