Thanks for visiting FixYa!

If you keep getting an error message when you try to log in,
this is likely a cache or cookies problem. To fix it, please follow the instructions below carefully:(Use the appropriate instructions for either a PC or a Cell Phone, whichever one applies)

  1. Please clear your Computer's (or mobile device's) cache and cookies (even if you have already done this).
  2. On a PC: (In your browser) go to Tools > Options > Privacy > Clear History (and make sure you also choose to clear the Cache).
  3. If your using a Cell phone: You can usually do this from an option menu when your mobile browser is open. Please consult your phone's user guide to determine how to do this on your particular device.
  4. If you're using a cell phone: Enter m.facebook.com as a new URL, rather than using a bookmark or a link. Log out of Facebook if you have the option.
  5. Enter your normal login details to log in. Please note that passwords are case sensitive.
Repeat steps 1 through 3, if needed.

If the reason you can't log in is because you've lost or forgotten your password (or are using an incorrect password) to obtain your password you'll need to first: Identify Your Account. (You should try this just in case someone else has hacked your account and changed your password.)

By clicking on the link below, you'll be directed to the Facebook page where you can do just that. Simply answer the questions and you'll be back on Facebook in no time.

Identify Your Facebook Account

If you've been blocked by Facebook from signing in, you'll receive a clear message that your account has been blocked. In that case, you'll need to click on one of the following links:

Click here for online form (if you violated the facebook terms and statement of rights and responsibilities)
Click here for other online form (if your account was blocked because of security reasons - phishing, hacking, scam, etc)...

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

I am logged onto internet on my email address (thru AOL), which is how I also get on my FB acct. So when I type "FB" into the SEARCH area, it connects me to my husband's FB acct, not mine. Why? ...

Because you are coming from the same sign in account. My family uses AOL also, each time one of us signs in we have to sign in from your account. the only other possibility is that you or your husband has been signing in to his FB under your account. also it is bad idea to keep the sign in checked so you dont need to sign everytime. I or anyone else can see your FB if you keep it signed in. My neighbor got into our computer an could see everything we do an wrote. Be careful about this stuff its easy for children to learn an do. Sign in an out of everything. We found out the hard way.

Priviously I had FB account, I cancelled but I want to return to it. How I do it?

If you "deactivated" your account - you will be able to reactivate it by signing in.
If you "permanently deleted" your account - you will not be able to open it back up. You will have to start again.
You can find more info on this by going to help and typing in "deactivate or activate."

I signed up for a FB account but never got the confirmation e mai

Just use the one account for now, unless you can remember the account user and information login, i doubt you will get fb to send you the account information, it should be that in about a month or two with no account activation the account will lapse and be deleted by the ops at fb. Hope this helps
