SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How to make oversea calls?

You need to contact your Telco provider as it is a blocked feature than needs your authorisation to unblock, because you are paying the sky high bills.

Best way is to download Facebook Messenger, or Viber and use VOIP, (voice over internet protocol). Other user you phone must have the same app, but cheap and incredibly clear duplex (both can speak over each other) calls.

5880

Since it belongs to the Telco, it is locked down per TDC specifications to Efficient/Speedstream/Siemens and the Telco is the customer, not the end user. Sorry. sad.gif The only solution is to purchase a different ADSL Modem/Router to replace the lent 5880 from TDC. There is no known way to unlock the TDC 5880 in question that I've ever seen published online.

It's been discussed before. There is a config script that only downloads from the ISP side and no one has posted any working solutions and there is no replacement script to unlock it. More and more ISPs are doing this in an effort to keep their network secure and to prevent servers from being run by the end user if they do not allow them.

What should i do if my sim card is being blocked and ask for PUK code

If you are a postpaid user (Globe, Smart, Sun Cellular, Verizon, T-Mobile, Orange or AT&T), your cell provider may be able to provide you with your PUK code. Just call them up, authenticate your identity by answering some questions and they will give you the PUK for your SIM card. This is easy because the telco can verify you as the owner of the SIM card or the mobile number.

If you are a prepaid card user, then it is assumed that only you have the copy of the PUK when you purchased the SIM. Since most prepaid SIM cards do not require registration, there is no way the telco can verify your identity and ownership of the SIM card.

When faxing a document to certain fax numbers, the machine stops sending the fax halfway through.

The problem lies with the condition of the receiveing fax' line condition. There are settings that can adjust the attenuation and the equalization on fax signals. The problem is the telco requires no louder than -6Dba signal volume set by the attenuator. If the noise level on the line approaches that figure, then the equalizer can be set to adjust the frquency or the attenuator can be set to adjust the volume. If there is too much noise on the fax line, then it becomes difficult to adjust. At a last resort, you can request the telephone company to clean up the line for you. Don't hold your breath too long however, since the telco's are noted for denial. What you can do is request those receivers who have difficulty, to have their machines tweeked. If they are located in an industrial area, then they should request the telco for assistance. Most modern commercial fax machines have an auto setting on the "One touch" buttons that will recognize what it takes to get a fax through and it will "remember" that setting for future faxes. Try that. You can look in the user manual to see how to do it. Best of luck

I have a sim card which has blocked and asks for puk no. and I dont know which network it belongs to?

PUK ( Personal Unblocking Key)
The PUK is enclosed in a machine-generated security paper. Make sure to take care in storing this paper as it will be your only copy.

A rating is appreciated if i help to solve your problem. Thanks. :)

Need manual for connecting fax to phone line and computer

Simple:

* one telephone-wire from wall-outlet to port on FAX labelled "line" or "telco";

* one telephone-wire from port labelled "phone" (or an icon of a telephone) to the port on your computer's modem labelled "tel" or "telco" (if your modem has more than just one port).

So, "incoming" telephone-calls go the FAX, to be "answered" by the FAX, while "outgoing" dial-up-Internet connections from your computer's modem "pass-through" the FAX, and to to the wall-port, and further along to the Internet Service Provider.

The stuttered dialtone that your getting to indicate that you have a message is provided from your telco provider. The message waiting light on the system is used by either the internal voicemail with the system or by the receptionist. The message waiting light will not work with telco provided voicemail.

Westinghouse Security System

Download the manual. I can't remember if it is in the User's Manual or the Programming Manual but a sequence to reset the security code is detailed in one of them. Also, it soulds like the telephone line was wired through the system for full seizure. To defeat this, you will need to take it out of the phone lines at the outside telco box. How it is wired is that the alarm panel intercepts the telephone line first and then feeds the circuit back out to the main junction where the telco comes into the house.
