To remove the purple tint on your LCD screen, all you need to do is:

1. Turn the camera off.
2. Take out the batteries and wait about 10 seconds.
3. Replace the batteries with new or freshly charged batteries.
4. Remove the memory card from the camera.
5. Turn the camera back on.

If the issue is not resolved, send cam for repair. Kodak cameras have 1 year warranty

Easy share m753 its fully charged stopped all of a sudden on holiday.got a few pics then just completly stopped .lense will not go back in just blank screen

It seems you have a lens error, try giving it a simply whack (not to hard) with the power in and see if it retracts if not then you will need to take it to a repair shop.
Good luck

M753 camera when taking pics and reviewing them they are purple/pink with dark horizontal lines however older pics appear fine

Hi!
It's a loose connection between the CCD and motherboard - a very common problem with these cameras. Unless you have experience in camera repairs, you should give it to a local repair shop - don't let them say you it's a motherboard problem or something like that, it's 99% just a loose connection. I have repaired hundreds of these. I work in a Kodak service center.

Black screen on Kodak M753

You have a bad CCD imaging sensor. Not worth repairing. Very common problem with most point and shoot cameras. Suggest you buy a new camera.

Purple and blurry pictur on the kodak easyshare m753

That is probably a faulty digital sensor array.

Try taking a picture and transferring the picture on a computer. If the picture on the computer is fine , then it is a faulty LCD.
If the picture is purple and blurred, the digital sensor array or the control board is defective.

The digital sensor array is the light sensible sensor chip that take the picture.

On a small camera like this can be a difficult and expensive repair.

Contact the phone number listed on the user manual and ask a quote for the repair, or ask if a warranty extension is available.

Same problem, i.e. purple display, except Kodak EasyShare M753 camera. Out of warranty - can I fix it myself?

Reset all.
In the menu. Then try it.
May be a ccd problem, contact Kodak, if it continues. They may fix this for free, not sure, but worth a try.
