Generally video files are bigger in memory than audio files. So firstly you check the memory status of Phone memory not for the mmc memory. And Check that the memory Card which you are using is less than 1GB Coz more than 1GB mmc is not supported in this model.Even if the mmc has enough space of memory however the size of the mmc is more than 1GB we cannot do this thing sometimes. So try to do what if not.

Not able to send anythin via bluetooth....!!!

I don't know whether its exactly the solution or not, but I had a similar problem transferring some mp3 files to any cell via bluetooth from my nokia 7210, I tried all combinations of bluetooth settings, but the same message kept appearing-"Sending failed", finally what I did was "Changing the name of the mp3 files" as all those I wanted to send had a bigger name, I cut the name short and there it worked. So, may be in any such case it's advisable to just try this out, it might just work.

Send file via blue tooth

Hi Friend,
Actually u can transfer directly from your Laptop to mobile around 10 mb.U can use the Nokia PC suite and transfer the files from PC to Laptop or Vice versa.

U can download the Nokia PC suite from the Below Link

http://www.nokia.co.in/get-support-and-software/download-software/nokia-pc-suites/compatibility-and-download#download

Copy and paste the link in the browser and scroll down u will be able to see your model(Nokia 6300) download it and install it in your Notebook.

Then u can access mobile from your notebook with the help of datacable or bluetooth

After installing u will be getting a in the desktop as nokia pc suite double click it and connect the mobile as per the steps given over there (its user friendly).

Then u can access the mobile from Notebook and transfer the files.

Kindly check it and revert back

Ayyasam

While recieving data from other mobile it shows a message as operation failed.

The memory in your phone or memory card may be full, hence you cannot receive any more data; either you or the other party may have accidentally cancelled the transfer of the data; or if they are sending a file (picture, song etc) via bluetooth and THEY have a password set on their phone and they do not put the password into YOUR phone to allow you to receive the data, then it will cancel the sending of the data. Hope that helps and/or makes sense :)

PROTECTION CODE FOR NOKIA 6300

okay fernando here is how to do it okay
but when u fininsh rate my post dont forget all poeple forget!!

If you set up your own access code, you can recover the code by connecting to computer or using a file manager. You can download Fileman here.
After installing file manager
check the folder C:\System\mmcstore . Rename file mmcstore.txt and send it to another mobile or to your PC via bluetooth or USB, open it and there you will find the password.

Here is also a reset procedure that works on some Nokia, I do not know if it is good for 6300.
Beware, by using reset below you will delete all data stored in phone memory, even phone numbers if they are stored in phone memory:
Take the SIM card out.
Make sure your phone battery is fully charged.
Press * 3 send at the same time and turn the phone on.
Keep this two buttons pressed until the reset screen appears.

Wait some time to reset.
Switch phone back on.

rating dont forget give me the blue rate!!
