Throw the old screw end away, it will only provide you with more headaches if you use it. Buy some coaxial connections from the store for about 3 bucks.....you cant get the wrong thing if you just bring the old end and match them up.
Cut the old cable line clean and strip about 2 inches back and install the end cap......If you dont have a "coaxial cable crimper" then get the connections that screw into the cable.....should say it on the package.....
Screw in the connector to the cable and connect it to the system and Viola good to go
GOOD LUCK AND PLEASE RATE THIS POST!!!

Frigidare errow code e59 display

Hi Emily,
I see that you are receiving an E59 on your Frigidaire washer. E59 states that "No Tacho" Signal for 3 seconds. I would recommend giving the appliance a hard reset. You will do this by either unplugging it or switching the circuit breaker off that the washer is attached to. When you do this you will want to leave it off for 3-5 minutes. Once the 3-5 minutes has elapsed, bring power back to the washer and try to restart it. If you are still receiving an E59 error code, I would suggest contacting your local authorized technician to diagnose and see why you keep receiving this error code.

-Best Regards-

I have a HT Z220 Samsung home cinema and a new tv (LG M2352) I've connected it via the satelite box or cable receiver so have surround sound but is there a way I can attach my laptop to the surround...

Get a mp3 player adapter, it will have a headphone jack on one end and the red and white cables on the other end. Plug into the headphone jack on your computer, and plug the red and white jacks into the Aux input on the receiver. I didn't look at the link, but most receivers have a Aux input on them. That should solve your problem.

My son put the cocking bolt together before attaching it to the gun. We can't get it apart! Do you have any ideas or do we have to get replacement parts?

Warning 1: this is a procedure for adults, not children - you may accidentally stab your own fingers.
Warning 2: this procedure might ruin the cocking bolt completely.
You'll need a small phillips head screw driver, two small flat-blade screw drivers, dental floss and four hands.
1) One end of the cocking bolt is fixed - leave this alone.
Remove the two screws from the inside face of the rotating end cap - this allows the outer cap to be removed.
The inner cap (still on the bolt) has four teeth that protrude into a recess around the metal bolt.
Warning 3: be extremely careful during the next step as the teeth may snap off completely and fingers could get hurt.
2) Using one of you four hands, hold the bolt upright on a sturdy table (with the fixed cap down) .
Simultaneously use the two flat-blade screw drivers to carefully lever one pair of opposite teeth out of the recess.
Whilst holding the levered the teeth out, firmly push the inner cap further down the bolt (down toward the fixed
end).
3) Wrap dental floss (or similarly stout, fine cord) around and around the recess to pack it out until it is flush with the outer diameter of the metal bolt - this is to stop the teeth locking back in place.
4) Slide the inner cap up and off.
Reassemble the cap.
Remove the dental floss.
Remind your son about the importance of reading the instructions first (just as you've always done yourself ;-).

Hi, my lexmark x2600 paper load light keeps blinking. I think my daughter was messing with the buttons.

Try to remove all sheets of paper. Then unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Leave the other end of the power cord attached to the power outlet in the wall. Wait at least 30 seconds before plugging back the power adapter in the printer. When the printer's ready, load some papers and check if it's working fine now. Keep me posted by leaving a comment. Thanks.

I have a audio/video multi-channel receiver VSX-D810S digital processor, probably about 7 years old. How do I hook up my ipod to play music out speakers in my home, same as cd's?

Check Radio Shack, thay make an adaptor with a white and red audio plug that can connect to an input on the receiver (AUX) the other end goes into the headphone jack on the iPOD.

2004 volvo S60 seems to have a dead battery but I can't see where to use jumper cables and the trunk won't open

Look under the hood for a black plastic box that has fuses and relays in it. On the edge o the box will be a post sticking up that you can attach your positive cable to. It should have either a red cap on it or a symbol of a + sign with or with out a circle around it, probably in yellow. Then hook the negative (Black) one somewhere metal. It needs to be like the top on the strut or top od the engine where the loop is sticking up from it where it was originally installed, anyhting to complete a ground.

Sanyo DS25390 Cable Terminal Ripped off

I personaly would replace the entire unit, the capacitor is a Ceramic "DC Blocking/Couplng" capacitor, possibly a 0.001uF cap... I should think if ya take it to any component supplier/radio repair shop or the like they would be able to give ya a replacement?
