SOURCE: How do you clean the lint filter area?

Bosch in their manual suggests using a vacum with a narrow tip to go into the hole and remove the build up.

SOURCE: Bosch Nexxt Dryer Model WTMC

Please check the following.

On the inside of the door near the top in the middle above the opening seal, there is a small prong which is the door latch switch trigger. This prong may be missing or not pressing enough into the switch to activate the safety interlock. This prong mates with a small hole immediately above the opening in the front of the machine. If you use a pen or similar object you can carefully press the lever inside by about 1/4 to 1/2 inch. If you press the start button the machine should start.

If the dryer did start then you can extend the prong using a small wood screw and screwing it into the end of the prong, or a tight wrapping of electrical tape.

A more permanent fix would be to remove the upper control panel using a torx 25 screwdriver(the screws are under the 4 white small disks around the door handle opening on the upper control panel) and re-seat the switch mechanism into its retaining slot. The only way to fix a broken prong is to replace the door or reattach the missing prong

If this did not fix the problem then it is possible that the belt has come off of broken. Removing the top of the dryer be removing the upper 2 torx screws at the back and sliding the lid backwards will allow you to see if the belt is loose or broken. If it is then the back of the unit will have to be removed using a torx 25 type screwdriver.

Be sure to remove power (unplug) from your machine prior to opening any of the panels.

SOURCE: bosch maxx wtl 6300 dryer when

Hi Guys...
At least I can shed some light on how to open the bottom part.
When you are looking into the dryer with the door open, take a look at the bottom hinge of the door. There is what looks like to be button popped out slightly..
Place your thumb on it and press. This should open the bottom part of the dryer.  Then clear out the gap between where the lint filter connects to the other units below it (when the door is closed...)
Hope this makes sense... there seems to be a sensor there..  I just cleaned mine so praying that the beeps stop.. Its been driving us mad for the last 8 months!

Bosch Nexxt Dryer gets warm but laundry doesn't get dry. Dryer stops after about 10 min of running and starts ''beeping''

this could be a faulty moisture sensor. try running the dryer in a timed dry mode and see what happens.also be sure to make sure all the duct work is free and clear and that the lint filter is clean

Dryer not working, indicates "lint filter" When I try to use the dryer (Bosch Nexxt), i first turn the dryer to the setting desired (regular or perm press, and time) it immediately has the "lint filter"...

This is a common complaint with this dryer. The probe generating this problem,is at fault. It likely has a film on it,from the dryer sheets.Remove the lint screen, and wipe down the probe that sticks into the air box.Should fix the problem,if not ,replace the probe.

Maybe the vent chamber is plugged (considering you have kept the filter clean) Pull the filter out, and look down in the unit for excess lint. You may have to move the dryer to clean it all out.

E-01 error code

hi there,

i understand your frustration here.

the E01 code means there is reduced airflow through your dryer and therefore before it overheats and starts a fire, it shuts down.

replacing boards and sensors will not fix this problem as it has nothing to do with the electronics or electrical side.

here is what you can do yourself:

check the venting on the dryer.
the vent hose runs from the back or side to the wall of your house.
it may be clogged or kinked

if everything is fine, i would contact Bosch directly and see if they have a recall or any service reports on this problem and if there are any solutions.

let me know if i can be of more assistance.

thanks.
