the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: how to restore applications on TI-84 Plus Calculator

Go onto www.education.ti.com, find the downloads column, and click on apps and operating systems. Then you can click on the different lists and find out which apps you accidentally deleted. You do this by (after clicking on it) looking under the "Pre-Loaded On" column. If you find the name of your calculator there, this is one application that was deleted. Hope this helps!

this might seem weird.... but have you checked the brightness of your calculator? if someone was playing with it and set the brightness to 0 it wont seem like there is anything. if u press second then hold the up arrow key it will make the screen darker. I dont know if this will help you or not but i know some of my friends like to play pranks where they set the brightness really high.

Why is my calculator frozen?

Is the cursor checkered? If so, there is no more space on the entry line. Use the DEL key to shorten it or clear it. Clear the RAM also.

Nothing shows up on the screen when I push any buttons. It will turn on, but after that nothing I push shows up on the screen. I have taken the batteries and the back up battery out.

Does the cursor show up at all? TI calculators have an annoying habit of dimming the screen when the batteries are changed so that it appears as if the calculator isn't turning on. Turn the calculator on (or at least press the ON key). Press and release the 2ND key. Press and hold the Up-arrow key for a few seconds and see whether the screen becomes legible.

If your calculator display the checkered cursor it means that the memory is full and you cannot type in anything. Clear the memory by resetting the calculator.
Press [2nd][Mem] then select [7:Reset]

The calculator appears to be frozen; none of the buttons respond; the display only shows "Ans" with a little 2 above and to the right of it, making it look like Ans is squared and then a blinking cursor

If pressing CLEAR doesn't get rid of it, try resetting the calculator. Remove all four AAA batteries. Press and hold the ON key for ten seconds. Replace the batteries.

Won't stay on.

have you tried manually resetting like the manual suggests? Take out the AAA's only, hold the ON button for 10 seconds and then re-install the batteries and turn it on. If that doesn't work, I have no other suggestions.
