Hi there!

make sure you dont pull the paper out just like that. turn off the printer first, gently pull the paper out, turn it back on. if the jam is on the adf, flip the adf (there's a notch on the left side) and pull it up. gently pull the paper out and close the adf and press the check button.

I have a 5650 lexmark printer and it keeps saying paper jams but there is not paper anywhere.. how can i find a solution... when you load paper it keepps getting stuck.. help

There could be something blocking the paper path. Try to shake the printer upside down. You'll be amazed of the things that falls off inside the printer. Also, make sure that there's no paper left inside the printer. Tiny pieces of paper will still lead to paper jams.

When i try and print it say's paper jam all the time .

Great job on removing the paper jam and trying it with a different paper. If you have already tried using different media, using 1sheet or multiple sheets on the feeder but still no difference, most probably a mechanism problem in the printer. If this is the case, I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support to further investigate the problem. A 6-month old printer shouldn't cause you that much trouble.

Lexmark X5650 All-In-One InkJet Printer has a carrier paper jam how do i fix it

Hi. Here's an article in the Lexmark website that might help you out with the carrier paper jam problem. Just go to this link http://bit.ly/btHg8D. If you have tried all of the troubleshooting steps found in the article but still getting the same problem, you might be having a printer mechanical problem. If that's the case, I suggest you call Lexmark at 1-800-LEXMARK(1-800-539-6275) for assistance. Make sure to take note of the serial number found behind the printer.

Lexmark X5650 printer

Hello there
ok try this my help you.

This may work for you, it has worked for many here I given this advice so gave it a try it could work for you. Generally when this happens, something has fallen into the printer, or a piece of paper has been jammed in there.

First step, remove the ink cartridge, and turn the printer upside down and gently shake it, see if anything comes out.

If nothing goes, or you can't hear anything rattling around, get a piece of cardstock paper (60lb or heavier) and gently push this through the printer, to see if it will help push out what might be stuck in there.

And gave the rode that the ink slides on a good clean and maybe a bit oil on cloth and wipe the rod with it.

Also clean The purge unit, called a spittoon assembly in an HP, Lexmark, Caonon and other inkjet printers, is where the print head assembly parks when not in use, also its other job is to clean and make sure the print head is clean and open for printing.

That is where you'll find the print head assembly parked on top of it.
It also has an electrical pump to milk the print heads and test for ink flow.

So clean all under where the heads are parked and on IP6600D models you can take out the heads just by clipping them out, and then clean well.

Please come back and just gave a vote, it will gave me some satisfaction to know am helping some one so I will keep on helping.

X5650 Unrecoverable scan error. Does not feed the paper.

Hi,
that sounds more like a mechanical issue. You might want to call Lexmark at 1-800-LEXMARK about the problem. Hope your printer is still within warranty. Hope this helps.

My Lexmark X5650 all in one printer displays a paper jam error but there is no paper jam. And I can't seem to get it to disappear after turning it on and off and unplugging it.

Inspect entire paper path for even a little shred of paper. All it takes to block a sensor, or hold down a "finger". if nothing at all, could be one of the sensors are faulty or unplugged.

I have a lexmark x5650 and evertime I try to print something the paper will feed through on one side and not the other so it doesnt print properly. also it says paper jam. any ways to fix this??

if you have a paper jam error and you don't see a Jam it means the printer just needs to be reset.
Please try this to do a partial reset. Leave the printer on and then unplug it and leave it unplugged for about 1 minute and then plug it back in and turn it back on and see if the problem persists.
About the paper feed, first check the printer preferences, go to start, select printer and faxes. Mark the Lexmark printer, click right mousebutton and select properties from the menu list.
Check that you have set paper size to DIN/A4 and adjust your other settings as needed.
If the problem persist check if you have the latest drivers installed, if this doesn't help I think you will need to contact lexmark support.
