Question about LG 32LG30 32 in. LCD HDTV

1 Answer

My remote controller for my 32LG30 seems like does not work properly, I tested with a camera, I could see the infrared light. After I bought the small receiving card and replaced in the TV, but the fault continued, I can operate TV with one side buttons, but not with my remote controller, I wonder if you can tell me how the check that remote controler is sending the proper pulses?, and how to re-program the unit in case I need to. More likely that it has dirty switch that select the front IR receiver or the Rear panel (see page 8) Remote control input that failed to select the fron IR remote, insert a miniphone plug in to the remote input jack in and out a couple times to clean the switch contact, you have to spray the contact clener into the jack. Very common with LG TV.
Let us know if that fix it.

Grinding remote control TP2 not working

light at the remote control flashes; does not mean it works properly. You have to check whether it emits infrared rays out from its front; which activates the TV. The indicator light blinks; means the remote control is working, and the the batteries are good. That's all. The infrared light that emits from its front side [infrared LED] is not visible to human eye. It can be detected by an electronic camera. If infrared ray emitting LED is faulty, the TV won't respond to remote control.
Check the remote control for its infrared emission. Check it by pressing all the keys. You can detect the presence of infra-red emission from the remote control, using a cell-phone camera. My aand59 00802a is new but does not work and no light is on when i press any button

If you can detect the infrared light by your phone camera; the remote control works properly. The fault is with the infrared sensor inside the DVD. Contact any service technician to replace it.

Why suddenly my remote control cannot Control tv . It can before , but now cannot

Check to see if the infrared led is working. Here's how to test, using your cell phone camera, point remote to the camera (cell camera must be on) then press any button in remote, on the cell phone camera, you will view a white light, if no white light comes on while you pressing the remote buttons, then the infrared led has died our, needs to be replaced. Alternatively check batteries are OK, make sure there is contact with connectors inside battery bay

If all other functions, except the Volume + / - button on your remote control works properly, the fault is with the remote controls' keypad. If no buttons on the remote control works, it might be due to a non functional remote control, or with a faulty infrared sensor inside your TV.

T.v. does not respond to remote control, but does work maually from side buttons

Turn tv on manually.Test the remote control all functions are dead or some functions work other don't?Tries take the remote control parts and clean the inner rubbers buttons between the rubbers insulater and the remote circuitries board and the battery connections + - connections with some rubbing alchahol. Then wait awhile like 20 mins and putting it back together again and putting in new battery in the remote,it might work again. If getting the same result than the remote CPU chip is probally dead, remote control devices are very depended on it CPU chip.Try website like Remotes.com to buy an original remote for the replacement.

Not able to program my remote for my new sanyo t.v. It will not blink tv after I touch setup .. seems there is no connection somewhere .. I just installed new batteries

Hello

You first check your remote control for its infrared lightup. Infrared rays comes from it infrared LED on its front end in invissible to us. It can be checked with a cellphone which has a camera option in it. Set the cellphone to camera mode. and place the remote control handset in front of its lens about one feet or so away from it, and press each button on it. For each button press, you can see the infrared image on the screen of the cellphone, if the remote contol works properly. Just press the setup key especially for this test, as you says it is not seem to work.
If there is infrared image gets on the camera screen for all button presses, and still your TV doesnt respond to it, your TVs infrared sensor has damaged, and should be replaced. If you want furthermore assistance, feel free to contact me through Fixya. OK.

Remote doesn't work - have new remote - tv doesn't respond

It may have the IR receiver module problem inside the TV. Just to be sure check both old and new remotes:
Testing remote control:
The remote control puts out IR (InfraRed) signal that human eyes cannot see, to find out if the remote is sending out the signal or not you just point the remote at the digital camera’s Lens (Digital Camera can detect IR), you should see flashing light on the camera’s screen when any one of the remote button is pushed. If you do see the flashing on the camera, then the problem is in the TV IR receiver or the main logic board; more troubleshooting with scope will be needed to look at the signals.

MY REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE LG TV :32LG30 STOPPED

Let verify first if the remote is sending out signal, point the remote at your digital camera, you shoud see flashing light on your camera screen (camera can see infrared light) when any remote button is pushed, if you can see it, then the problem can be in the Infrared receiver in your TV and need further troubleshooting.

You can get new remote on EBAY.
