Question about Acer Computers & Internet
If the laptop sounds like it is running and you have no display you can try to plug in an external monitor to it. (any computer monitor will work, just plug the data cable in to the blue VGA receptacle on the back or side of your laptop). Turn on your laptop and look at your function keys on the keyboard. One will have a monitor symbol (maybe F4). Push that function key to switch to external monitor. If it displays on the monitor then you know your computer is okay and that the problem is with your LCD screen. If there is no display then most likely you have a bad video chip on the motherboard and will have to replace the board.
