Question about Sansui Televison & Video
You will need a converter after the switchover early next year unless you use a satelite dish like Dish Network or Direct TV.
The Artec T3a will work with 12 volts: http://www.dtvdeadline.org/artec-t3-a/
Many other converters should also work as a lot of them would use a 12Volt AC to DC adapter for home use, some use 5 Volt but a 12 to 5 volt adapter is common also. Go to your local best buy or favorite electronics retailer and ask them to see some boxes and their AC adapters.
