Question about Syntax Computers & Internet
Going from No wifi connection to reinstalling windows is a big difference in time and maybe documents. If your sure you can't boot and want to reinstall xp the best would be to go into your bios. Its F12 or whatever on your machine just so you get to the bios. There you can select a certain amount of memory that you have to be partioned. Simply all would go for your xp installation. With the xp disk in the drive turn on the machine and it should boot to the installation. If it doesn't your boot order is incorrect meaning the machine is trying to boot from the hard drive and you want the machine to boot from your dvd drive. So in the bios you have to make sure the default boot at least temporarily is the dvd drive. When in the bios that is real simple to change.
With the computer instructed to boot from dvd drive and disc in the dvd drive it will jump to the installation of the xp pro. If you have any questions come back with another and you should get a response as this is a fairly common question
