Remove or pop the top. Once that is raised then you can install the fins easily.

One of my dryer fins fell off how to get it back on

Look inside the drum at the place where the fin was on the drum.
Do you see any screw holes now showing?
That will tell you that you need to take the machine all apart and re-fasten the fin on with some screws, unless the holes are stripped out in the fin itself, in which you will need to get a little bigger screws, or buy a new fin.
Oh yes, I have been using an epoxy cement in a tube that has 2 chambers, and this may help you.
I think it would work here, but will not be strong enough to glue the fin back on.
I sort of think it would stand the heat if you used it to help secure the screws into the fin.
Honestly, to me the new fin sounds " hard to get".
Be blessed.

How do you replace the plastic fins inside the drum

You pop the top and use a screwdriver to put the fins back.themobilian_3044.jpg
See the spring clip? Use a putty knife to release the top
themobilian_3045.jpg
Then you can open the door and hold the fin inside while you use a screwdriver to put them pesky fins back in there.
I wrote a page on these

Fin that tumbles clothing inside dryer coming loose, how can I tighten it?

These fins are usually screwed on from the outside of the drum. If you're up to it this is a simple but time consuming fix. Take the cabinet off the front of the dryer, the top will come off as well. be careful of the wires from the control console, they will stay attached to the dryer. Tighten the tumbler fins on the drum and then re-assemble the cabinet. Typically the screws you need to access are the same used for the door latch and hinges. They go back together easy ........

What is the part on the inside of dryer door with the seal around it called and can you order it

Im not exactly sure which part you are talking about, but if your referring to the actual container that holds the clothes its called the drum. If your talking about the small plastic pieces that stick into the inside of the drum those are called fins. If you need new fins, you cannot order them separately you will need to replace the whole drum. So in either case your getting a new drum. Most appliance part stores don't carry such a large item in stock but you may get lucky and the store can usually order one as long as you give them the model number of the machine.

Dryer fins coming loose

Unplug Unit.

Refer to pages 5-2 and 5-3 of the manual below to see how to expose the drum by lifting the top of the machine. Then turn drum very slowly and only until the screw holes for the missing fins are within your reach. Most of these dryers have two sizes of fins make sure you order the right one if you need to replace them.

Good Luck

Loose Tumbler Fin In dryer

most maytag dryers have push type clips that hold the top to the front. look between the top and front with a light and find them about 3-4 inches from the outer edges. once you get the top up then there will be screws that hold the drum baffles to the drum. just put a new screw in them and all will be ok. no need to replace them, just use new screws.
