The Mocrosoft RECOMENDED way is to use Outlook to EXPORT the file to a media (USB drive, DVD, etc...) than IMPORT the .PST file created from the previously exported output fil to the newly installed Outlook, if it's the same Outlook version you could just copy the .PST from the old computer to the new one (in the respective foler) c:\documents and settings\(user name)\local settings\application data\microsoft\outlook\(user name.pst) you will still have to set up your connexion to your mailbox (POP, Exchange, etc...)
