The very first XM radios, (SkyFi2, MyFi, Roady2) up until they were put in red boxes, had a VERY strong FM transmitter, so strong, that when Sirius was their enemy, they complained to the FCC and they made the FM transmitters real weaklings. So unless you have one of the first two batches of XM radios, the FM transmitters now are real junk and you're better off using an AUX input on the radio or a cassette tape adapter. Okay? Thanks.

Why has my Tivoli iPal AM/FM Radio stopped working?

Try removing the battery and power on. If it does not on, replace the unit, a new unit would cost you less that a repair of this unit

My Suzuki swift is just under 3 years old. I recently replaced a brake light bulb. Since then I have discovered that my dashboard light is not working, although the digital displays are. My tail lights are...

it is 2011, thus a 2006 car is more than 3 years old. however it could still be under a 5/50 bumper to bumper warranty so call a dealer and find out. if not you have an electrical problem and a dealer diagnostic is the way to go, also this could be a common suzuki problem or something covered by a recall. dealers may be more expensive labor rate wise, but they tend to fix cars the right way the first time which can save money in the long run.

My am/fm infinity radio does not work

Normally there is an in-line fuse on the power lead, but if it an old unit maybe it has been disgarded, what you need to do is get a test meter and check if there is power to the radio connector before you attach the radio, if there is then there is a problem with the unit, if there is no power to this wire then you should check fuse box to see if one of them have blown.

I would like to know how to dis-assemble an old Swift Vega Binoculars. It is a Nighthawk 7X50, model #788. The inside of the lens need to be cleaned and maybe the mirrors, but I am not sure how to take it...

the old swift nighthawk is a nice bino, has lasted all these years and is well worth repair ...the problem is if you do it yourself you will only make it worse as there will be more more dust inside than when you started unless you have an air hose to blow off optics after polishing, also once you disturb the optics you will certainly put it out of alignment. have repaired many of these thru the years, actually worked for swift in boston years ago. why mess it up ...larry 5088331232

Suzuki swift Headlight problem

Have you checked to see if this is a wiring problem or maybe a relay problem?

Recently my lights would work on side lights and not anything else and this was down to dodgy wiring and needed a new relay unit.

Sounds like the timing unit which automatically turns off your dome lights after a few minutes is working backwards. Probably need a new unit.
