There are no replacement parts for water timers.
Clock motors are small with plastic gears, and they wear down and get slow, and then overheat and quit. If timer is electronic, the circuit board and components have finite lifespan and don't last long exposed to elements and daily temperature fluctuation
Be sure to bring water timers inside each winter to avoid cracks caused by ice expansion.

I have just purchased a Magnaox ZV247MG9 and to convert VHS to DVD and my first DVD is blank. All the connections are made and I followed the manual, but am confused as to what happened.

I hope you have resolved this by now but in case you haven't: The only thing I can think of is that the disc was not compatible. Make sure to use one of the discs listed in the manual.

Setting clock

Hello
To set clock:
1. Press "Timer/clock button". The hour digit begins to flash.
2. Press (<< P.DOWN or >> P.UP) on the multicontrol to set Hours.
3. Press SET button. The minute digits begins to flash.
4. Press (<, P.DOWN or >> P.UP) on the multicontrol to set Minutes.
5. Press "Set" button."CLOCK OK" appears on the display. The clock stops flashing, and the clock timer starts from "0" seconds. If the clock is not set "AM 12:00" will flash instead of the clock indication. When the time has been set, TIMER/CLOCK can be used to operate the daily timer recording timer.

How to stop clock ticking

It isn't that hard to get the clock to stop ticking.

Disconnect power to stove so that you do not get a shock.

Take off back panel screws behind the clock.

disconnect the wires to the clock.

Make sure that the wires are not touching anything metal. If they are not insulated, you will want to tape them.

Do not use the hammer to the dial method to get the clock to stop. It is fast but may cause damage.

Zenith XBR617 DVD Sometimes doesn't record full time scheduled

sounds like your clock is wackie. SEE if there is a back up [computer type button] battery in a small draw just by the clock or see your manual for directions on where it is. Replace the battery.Do you have interupted electircity in your [brown outs] area ? That shuts down the recording timer and resets it. Your clock is the 1st thing I would check, 2nd is the electricity.

Downloading from hdd to dvd+r ?

When you recorded your "footage" was the dvd recorder set to 2hr (sp), 2.5hr (spp), or 3hr (LP), etc.?Because for example, you downloaded (recorded to your hdd)your "footage" that is say 3hrs long, and your recorder is set to record at 2hrs mode(sp), then when you put a blank dvd in recorder to transfer from hdd to blank dvd, the 3hrs of your "footage" has been recorded in 2hr mode on your hdd, and will only record in 2hr mode onto your blank dvd. Solution is to set your recorder to the record mode in which your "footage" length is. For example, if your "footage" length is 3hrs, set your recorder mode to LP then when you insert your blank dvd should be okay. Or, set your recorder mode to 2hr (sp) and make two recordings of your "footage" onto hdd, splitting them up: 2hr on one, and 1hr on the other. When you burn to blank dvd you will have to have 2 blank dvds, one for 2hrs, the other for 1hr. I had to same thing happen to me. I hope this works for ya.

Timer record set

Make sure the clock is set. Since the clock must be set before the timer will work, be sure you have entered an accurate date, day of the week, and time (including AM or PM). And always check the clock after a power outage. Also, check that your videotape does not have the tab removed which protects against further recording.
