Any movement can be considered work. Your legs are working, using levers and ball joints, to move the weight of your body, no matter how slow you move. So the answer is Yes.

Good day my walking foot and guide do not lift up together and the guide is to low to feed material into it . How do i sort this out.

Wondering if the walking foot is installed correctly. There is a piece of metal which has a "fork" design or "C shape" on the end. That fork must encircle to the needle screw.

I have a 2004 Chevy silverado 1500 four wheel drive when I come to a stop and release breaks it clunks what is causing this?

Not %100 sure, but it sounds like a loose brake caliper, or if equipped with rear drum brakes, it could be one or more of the many components involved with holding the brake shoes in place, and one more possibility of being a broken brake pad or shoe. Can you tell where it's coming form? The front, rear or possibly the center which would point more towards drive train issues....

Is there a good way to check if I am walking too slowly? I want to exercise properly but it is hard to tell if I am fast enough.

There is a very basic way of testing your walking speed. If you are so out of breath that it's hard to talk, you are probably walking too fast. If you are able to hold a tune while you walk, then you are probably walking too slowly. But obviously these are very general guidelines and it really depends on your fitness level.

I have a 35-3 spreader and cannot find the setting rate to apply 3.5# of product to 1000 sq ft

I have a Scotts calibration bar which I used according to their instructions and the unit (a 35-3) still does not perform correctly. Therefor I used a tried-and-true method to make my own calibration.

1) get a large tarpaulin, the bigger the better. Lay it on a flat surface, as level as possible. Measure the tarp to determine the area.

2) Pick a setting. I would suggest starting with "5". Load up your spreader and go back and forth over the tarp as though it were your grass.

3) Dump what you have collected on the tarp into a container and weigh it.

4) Perform high school arithmetic operations to determine the pounds per square foot delivered and adjust accordingly. Obviously, different products will perform differently and this will have to be done for each different product.

5) Down at these low numbers it doesn't take much change in setting to make a big change in the delivery rate. The Scotts representative also noted that the speed at which you walk can affect the rate. As you walk more slowly the spreader will deliver more product.

After walking about 15 seconds the belt slows way down and stops completely.

The walking belt slows when walked on the walking belt maybe overtightened, treadmill performance may decrease and the walking belt may become damaged or the opposite the drive and /or running belt may need tightening. Last thing would be that the belt needs lubrication to be applied between belt and deck.
