Targus TG-MP6710 monopod is stuck on SLR camera. The screw just keeps on spinning without loosening up. How do you remove it?

I am having the exact same problem. I took the screws out and slid off the actual metal monopod. Still cannot disconnect from the camera.

Targus Tripod TG-P60T is binding while panning horizontally, how can I resolve this issue?

There are two issues I'd like to help resolve here.
They are 'binding while I'm panning' and 'binding when I start to pan'.

Binding while I'm panning...
There is a large knob on the side of the panhead that needs to be loosened slightly. I have seen some folks loosen the panning handle because they believe it to release the panning mechanism.
Also, be sure that the camera you are using is not too heavy. There's a 5lb (2.2kg) limit and that can also cause undue strain.

Binding when I start to pan...
When panning, I advise our students to begin their pan a couple of feet ahead of the actual scene they'd like to pan and finish a couple of feet after the scene. This allows for a smooth pan after you overcome the inertia in getting the pan head to move and doesn't result in a jerky stop. It's straightforward to edit out these lead in and lead out sections.

Hope this helps.

I have a Minolta XG-A camera, and i can take a picture but the shutter is stuck?

My shutter does that when there is low light, or just slow shutter speed. You could try changing those settings, otherwise, last time mine got stuck, I loosened a screw on the bottom right under the shutter release button and the shutter just snapped back into its place.

I JUST PICKED UP A TG-P60T TRIPOD IN A BACKPACK

you can hang your camera bag from it so the light weight tripod has more mass attached to it so it is more stable.

Need platform for targus 5060

Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I've seen. Targus parts exactly will be hard to get so you may have to measure the opening of the quick release hole and work from there.

My Minolta X-700 with new batteries is still dead

dcates
you will need a jewelers + type screwdriver. just turn screws to the left, remove the screws and bottom plate. push re-wind button in first. check the small white gear at the bottom of take up spool. if its broken it may be hard to replace as no new parts are available for this model.

Black viewfinder

Slr mirror is stuck. remove the lens and try to slightly move the mirror up and down ( but not forcing it to move!)and pushing the shutter switch. Try also applying lighter fluid in the mechanism while operating or shooting, fluid will help loosen the stucked mechanism.
