Question about Computers & Internet

Open Question

I have a pub with a single Uniwell TX-875 EPOS. I have run an x-report to the LCD, but the cancel button that is normally on the final screen that allows me to return to the main screen has disappeared, so I am stuck and effectively frozen out of the system. I cannot find a reset button that is obvious and I have tried turning the system off and then back on to atempt a reboot and that does not work. Can anyone help please.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: Win XP Home no longer works, won't boot from cd/or hd

Ok, obviously you have a second working computer. Is it a laptop?
I ask because my best idea for you right now considering that Preach's advice is probably right is to take your primary hard drive out of the compromised computer and plug it into another working computer via the Cd-rom cables and then boot like normal. The hard drive will just be seen as a secondary storage device. Once you get logged in, navigate to the bad hard drive and set your existing security software to scan it for viruses or spyware.

Hi! Having trouble with my casio te2400 epos system. Getting error message E046 and have tried all the solutions I could find online to no avail!

"REG BUFFER FULL". This means you have rung up a large amount of items in one sale without finalising with a payment type. Normally, you can press CLEAR (C) and then press a payment type e.g CASH. If not, then you have overflowed it to the point of no return (just for this sale), so try this:
Turn key to PROGRAM mode. Turn power off at wall. Hold RECEIPT FEED down - keep your finger on it. Turn power on at wall. Wait 5 seconds, then let go of RECEIPT FEED. You should see "FFFFFFFFFF" on display. Press SUBTOTAL and wait 5 seconds.
This should take you to program screen. Now turn key back to REG and try it. You may have to log on again.
Note: This normally does not cancel all of the items in the sale, so they will still be on your daily report, but at least you get control back again. Next time, don't ring up so many items. Use tracking (tabs) for that.

Uniwell 875

There is no paper manual for Uniwell, they have an online manual. Go to www.uniwell-usa.com It is very difficult to program without the software and unless you have done a few of them. You can order keys from a local dealer.

You want a TX (transmit) Report. You can have the report printed after each fax is transmitted, including the first page of the fax sent if desired. Follow these steps to turn on the report.

1. Press Menu button
2. Use (left or right) arrows to FAX SETTINGS, press Set button
3. Use arrows to REPORT SETTINGS, press Set button
4. Use arrows to TX REPORT (may be there already), press Set button
5. Use arrows to OUTPUT YES, press Set button

7. Use arrows to ON or OFF, as desired, press Set button
8. Press Stop/Reset to exit the menu

No HDMI Output

My configuration:
ZONE 1 (living room)
DishNetwork Dual Tuner DVR Tuner 1 [S-Video out] -> [S-Video in] ONKYO TX-SR875 [HDMI out] -> [HDMI in] Sony KDS-60A3000 rear projection TV

ZONE 2 (living room)
DishNetwork Dual Tuner DVR Tuner 2 [Composite Video out] -> [Composite Video in] ONKYO TX-SR875 [Composite Video out] -> [Composite Video in] Samsung AQUOS LCD TV

Problem:
ONKYO receiver stops sending video signal to my ZONE 1 Sony TV through the HDMI connection. ZONE 2 may still receive video. (NOTE: the issue might be related to the upconverter circuitry?)

Symptom:
I couldn't see any video, but I could hear the Tuner 1 audio through my ONKYO. An important clue is that I couldn't see ONKYO's on-screen display menu on my TV when hitting the [Setup] button on my remote. But, I could see my TV's Sony-based menus and display options.

Solution:
1. Put all ZONES in Standby mode using the remote. Hit these buttons on remote: [Receiver], then [Standby]. [Receiver], [ZONE2], then [Standby], [Receiver], [ZONE3], then [Standby]. You should NOT see any lights on the ONKYO except maybe one red led near the power button.
2. Pull the power plug out of the back of the ONKYO, and leave unplugged for 20-30 seconds. Turning off any power center it is connected to isn't enough. You MUST unplug the power from the back of the ONKYO for 20-30 seconds.
3. Reconnect the power cord to the ONKYO.
4. Using the remote, set ZONE1 to a video source known to be working. If you don't see video, try leaving the power cord off for a longer period.

I know it sounds too simple to work, but that's what brought the video back for me the few times the video stopped displaying. Hope it works for you.
