PANASONIC VIERA TX55as802b will not switch on red power/standby light blinking once every 3-4 seconds have been told its the screen and it cant be repaired can anyone confirm this or help.thanx

The manual says nothing about the power light flashing at that rate. Unless an expert tells you that's the specific indication for a failed screen, I wouldn't believe it. Most TV's will give you sound even if the display has failed.

Try resetting it by unplugging and waiting 60 seconds before plugging it back in.
If that doesn't work, most likely the power supply board needs to be replaced. Or possibly the T-con board.

If you don't know what you're doing, DON'T OPEN THE TV UP TO FIX IT, THERE ARE HAZARDOUS VOLTAGES ON THE POWER SUPPLY BOARD, EVEN WEEKS AFTER THE TV IS UNPLUGGED!

If you don't know how to do it yourself, find some local Electronic repair shops, get quotes, try to find reviews on the shops.

Hi. I have a HP Deskjet 3745 printer. The green light keeps flashing and the printer is said to be "offline". I have tried everything but nothing works...

Hello,

Try lifting the top (2) panels where the ink cartridges go, than place back down after the ink cartridges go to the center. Or just unplug and plug back in!

This should reset your printer! You may be asked to realign the ink cartridges, but you can press the cancel button to bypass this.

Kind regards!

I was exploring the setup menu and I found an election of Progressive Scan "on" and "off". When I tried "on" then the picture get out and no image was since then. I can't...

There are 2 ways you can reset the player to default factory settings, although I am not sure about progressive scan being reverted back to interlaced output.

1) Unplug the player (or switch off) at power point, as soon as you reconnect (switch on) power to unit, press and hold the [STANDBY-ON] button (on the front). As soon as you see 'IS TV ON?' on the front panel display, release the [STANDBY-ON] button. This should reset it.

- OR -

2) If you do not have the instruction manual, you can download a free pdf of it;

http://www.retrevo.com/support/Philips-DVDR615-DVD-Players-manual/id/280ag201/t/2/

I hope this helps a tiny bit.
