Playstation2 Slimline the disc frozes

Solution menthol faster crab a new ps2 slim lens for changing ,this is faster way for solved yours problem.

If it happens for all your discs then clean the PS2 with a laser lens cleaning kit like this one:

If it only happens for one disc then bring the disc to a game store like Gamestop or Rock30 Games and have them professionally clean the disk for a couple bucks.

well if i dosnt play games then why dont you sell it and get another consle

Sounds like a defect in the disc. Possibly a scratch or blemish.
If your other games dont hiccup it's most likely the "god of war" disc

ughh my rock band disc loads the playstation2 screen and when the black is suppose to load it its doesnt go any farther and the playstation makes a beeping sound :( help!

this could be the laser on the way out or could need a cleaning do you have a cleaning disc to see if the laser are dirty ,
is the game scratched will it play any other game or does it say disc not read for all games.

At the screen where it ask you to imput the password enter 7444. the old password will be deleted and you will have to setup an new one.

Just leave it blank to not have a password setup.

see if the cd is NTCS/UC,NTSC/J or PAL and see what is your ps2 designation see at the back you will see if it is NTSC/UC.

Three things. 

1. The laser could be melted from extended attempts at reading an unreadable disc. If so, You need a new laser.
2. The Disc is not spinning which could be a motherboard failure. If so, you need a new motherboard
3. Dust has infiltrated the laser and contaminated the Mirrors or Pickup. If so, you need a new laser.

Ok now that you see the reasons, it is more likely you need a new laser. go to Ebay and buy you one. They are fairly simple to change. Call or email me when you get a New laser.  My information is at www.playstationclinic.com  Hope this helps you.
