Hi!

You cannot. Only one configuration can be set to it but workaround is you can use 2 routers, and set the other for static and the other to dynamic to serve its purpose.

Hope this helps.

THERE IS AN IP ADDRESS CONFLICT WITH ANITHER

Identify the peripheral conflicting with the router and change the network address on one of the two. Their setup programs should give you the possibility to do so. The address should look like: 192.168.2.x
x ranging from 0 to 9

3. check ip. (if 169, assign static ip)
4. assign static ip
5. ping router (if getting replies, access webui, reload firmware. if not getting replies, the router may already be faulty, advise to phone netgear)

My PS3 cant find IP address from Netgear router DG 834,what I have to do

make sure you are putting the network key correctly...if you dont know tha network key.. try the following.. . Connect a computer to the router using any one of the 4 available ports.
2. Open the browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari).
3. Access the router usually by typing 'http://192.168.0.1' or 'http://www.routerlogin.com' in the address bar.
4. Login to the router with the Username as "admin" and Password as "password" (please note that the Username and Password are case sensitive).
Click on wireless settings (under setup) from left menu.
Change the channel to 11
*-security option > select wep.. in KEY 1 put a ten digit number .... nothing under passphrase ..
Apply settings to save the changes.
*-then try to connect your PS 3
I hope the steps above will help resolve the issue. If you need any further help, please email us back so that we can continue to work on a solution.
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue.

Can't get connection through router to internet

Hi,i beleive you have checked with your service providor as to what type of IP configurations is required. That is if you have a static Public IP or multiple IPs.If you have already checked the router configurations make sure your PC or laptop is configured accordingly. That is you have to configure your PC or laptop in a DHCP way.You can go to control panel from Start option and then go to network wizard, you will have 2 options, the 1st one would be assigning a static IP and then the next one would be Obtain an IP automatically.Click on the radio button there.Restart your comp and the router. You should be good to go.
For any further assistance please revert.

Hi i losted my antenna of netgar dg 834 g v3

You'll need to either obtain one from the same model of router, or contact Netgear for a replacement (they're not all interchangable, alot of them require replacements that were made by the same manufacturer for the same model).
