Won't turn on

Tetasonja40 , your problem may be the same as some of the other players. IF you don't have a license in the music you are copying the player loads it and it is visible but will not play and may even lock up the unit that it will blink on then when you hit play it shuts off or the light remains on but solid and will not play. Try removing the songs one at a time till the offending file releases the unit. I spent hours resovling this on other units. another problem that occurs is the players stop recognizing mp3 files for replay. converting them to a wma may resolve this problem.

Help turning on

Push the play/pause button and hold it down for a few seconds until the light turns on. Once the light is on and solid push it again. The light will blink while it is playing songs.

Hello,

If your adding music to the device and its not playing, its because your audio files are not the correct format. This unit only plays MP3 audio or Uncopyrighted Windows Media Audio files. You can test this by connecting the MP3 player, copy one of the sampe audio files under 'My Music' location on your computer and paste it on your mp3 player. It will play the audio fine.

How to play: Hold in play button until red ligh is steady, then press Play again to start the audio.

Make sure you remove any audio file that is not the correct format.

to check format of song:

right click the song, go to properties, under properties it will say 'Type of File', make sure this says MP3, thats the safest way to go.

I have been able to sync mine, though it wouldn't transfer some songs. It would sit there trying to convert it but wouldn't. So I tried the alternate way to get them on. I just did a drag and drop and all the songs played fine. I just had to be sure to hold the play/hold/stop button for about six seconds before it would turn on.
BTW all of the songs including the ones windows wanted to convert played fine this way.

Player is not turning on

Sometimes I must hold the play button down for over 7 seconds on my unit to get it to turn on. See also the answer to the question on properly charging the unit; i.e, have the slide switch in the "off" position.
If you are using a USB hub to charge the mp3 player then the hub must be powered.

Can't get my mp3 player to play and sync with windows media player

When I try to sync from my computer to my Phillips Mp-3 player. I am told I need a licence to do this. This all started when I got a new laptop with Vista. on my old computer with XP I never had this problem. What do I ne to do? The music I am trying to sync is from CDs I have already bought. Not downloaded from the net.
