Belt keeps coming off- Dirt Devil Breeze Cyclonic Bagless Upright Vacuum

Turn it upside down and switch on the power briefly to see what happens to the belt while running. Some vacuum cleaners have a wire guide of some sort to keep the belt running true, but yours may not have it. The end of the brush roller that connects to the belt could be worn uevenly, causing the belt to ride off the motor shaft. The motor shaft might not be parallel to the brush roller.

Hoover spirit 900 canister wont turn on?

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
If the vacuum cleaner motor does not run the motor itself might be burned out. Check the power switch first to be sure the motor can get power. Then, be sure the motor shaft can turn freely, that nothing is obstructing it. If the motor can turn freely and is getting power but still won't run it will need to be replaced
If the vacuum cleaner motor doesn't run the on - off switch might be turned off or defective. Test the switch with an Ohm meter or continuity checker.

Have a two clear view probably 3 year old belts

sounds like the motor bearings are bad. when those bearings wear out the motor shaft doesnt stay strait and allows the belt to track off.

Bissell Pro 2X. The brushes spin as soon as I turn it on but only spins for an instant then it quits spinning. The vacuum stays running. the handle is down.

it might be the drive belt slipping if the unit is off then the belt is locked onto the belt and then when the unit is switched on the belt slips and if its loose it doesnt hold the belt to the motor shaft

Maybe a second belt or pully.

If that spindle you are talking about is the motor shaft, then the motor is bad. Usually the belt goes from the brush roll to the motor shaft. It may help if we knew brand and model number.
