You may already have the driver in your Windows OS. On the WINDOWS DESKTOP, left click mouse on START. Select CONTROL PANEL, then left click on the ADD HARDWARE icon. Scroll down the list and left click on PRINTERS. Click NEXT, and in the CHOOSE A PRINTER PORT window, left click on USE AN EXISTING PORT. In the drop down list, choose USB (VIRTUAL PORT), if your printer uses a USB cable to the PC. Click NEXT, and in the INSTALL THE DRIVER window, firstt left click on BROTHER on the manufacturer side, and scroll to your model on the PRINTERS side. Left click on your model, and click NEXT. Follow the instructions as they appear, and your printer will be ready to use. Alternatively, download the driver at: www.brother-usa.com , and left click on the DOWNLOADS AND SUPPORT icon. You will be directed to the BROTHER ONLINE SUPPORT CENTER where you can download whatever you need.
