Hi,

If too many processes are running and causing system slow down, I would suggest you download and install Advanced SystemCare Free from this link

After installing, click the Turbo Boost button to stop unwanted services and processes. This is a very safe and reliable method to stop unwanted system processes without causing system unstability.

Hope this solves your problem. For more help and clarifications, please feel free to reply to this post.

Thanks for using FixYa

what do you need to know? it should be able to run windows 7 just fine, and maybe even better than vista. you should buy a windows 7 disk from a retailer (best buy is a good option) and then pop in the disk to upgrade. the guide will make it really easy.

I get notices when I turn on my computer that there is a problem with FAT32. What is it and how do I fix it?

FAT32 is a file system for the Windows Operating system. Now what I find weird about this is the Windows 7 Operating System uses The NTFS File System. You state there is a disk check occurring but you cancel it, the first thing I would do is allow the disk check to finish running. This process shouldn't take more then 30 minutes - 45 minutes.

My laptop is HP Compaq 6720s Volume, Power, and Network notification icons are missing from taskbar. They cannot be re-enabled from the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties as they are disabled or grayed out....

This is a simple fix in windows vista or windows 7. hit the keys CTRL+ALT+DELETE simultaneously and release. The screen that comes up click on Start Task Manager.

In the task manager window click on Processes Tab. Look for explorer.exe and highlight it and click End Process. Click Yes to stop it. When it is gone from the list, click the Applications tab and click on New Task. In the run box that pops up, type in explorer.exe and click OK or hit Enter. Once your task bar and icons repair look in the system tray area by the clock and the missing icons should now be there.

I installed Windows 7 on a laptop (HP DV2000) now the it give problems to come on, I tried over and over finaly i got Windows Vista 32bit on it, but it still giving the same problem, what can i do or how...

Windows 7 is designed for latest hardware and the Laptop you are using is quite an old. We will face compatibility issues.

I suggest you to run a Compatibility Advisor to know which Windows 7 version is compatible for your Notebook.

    Advisor Tool
    http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/upgrade-advisor.aspx

Install the suggested version using an upgrade Disk. If you use retail version, you will face the driver compatibility issues.

All windows 7 driver will not available. But, you can use Vista driver for Windows 7 if it is installed using an upgrade disk
