Navigate to this page, which is a grid of the various models of Kaba locks, and select the installation instruction download for your L1000 locks:

http://www.kaba-ilco.com/access_control/literature/literature_grid_mechanical_pushbutton_locks.aspx?id=13&obj=1000

The download will be a PDF file, which requires Adobe Reader or similar program to view the file. If you don't have it installed, there is a link to Adobe Reader at the top of the grid chart.

When you have the "Manual" downloaded and opened, scroll down to "Troubleshooting" page 40 of 44, where it states

Outside lever when turned always retracts latch without depressing any buttons.

Lock is in zero combination.

Follow the procedure for changing a
combination except omit step 3 (do not enter the existing combination)

This sounds like the solution to the problem you are describing. Good luck!

Toilet flapper doesn't stay up unless handle is held down until tank empties.

If the flapper won't stay up, you may be lifting it too high - you want to retain a little air inside it when it's lifted. Try adjusting it to a lower lift height.

Want to convert my electric audi 80 roof into a manual one

no need to convert.
the electic roof can be opened manually by:-
unlock the roof using the handle on top of the windscreen and push roof back as far as posible.
lift flaps adjacent to door pillers
you will see a small lever which can be retracted (both sides)
when these levers are retracted the roof will push down fully into its compartment
when erecting the roof ensure that the two levers are fully open to accept the roof retaing lugs

How to unfold a safety first playpen

Most all of the newer playpens called Pack N Plays use a bottom-center
safety device. You must lift up the bottom of the playpen, usually a tab or twist handle. Either lift or twist and lift to be able to drop or raise the sides. YOU CANNOT RAISE OR LOWER THE SIDES UNLESS YOU LIFT THE SAFETY UP. Dont man-handle the sides. Slamming them up or down will break them. Sometimes it helps to lift the side releases before pressing the releases thet are inside the cloth. Basically the floor of the playpen has to be sticking up to allow the sides to raise or lower and lock.
