This is the second time, second phone I have had this with this Samsung Caliber SCH-R860 phone.. the connector to charge the phone seeems to slip and therefore go on an off and make a noise clicking on an off and crazy making, doesn't charge and this one is less than two months old. I still have original Samsung phones from 14 yrs ago Is this a noted flaw?? Two times, two phones and also I had the experience with the Black Carbon about to give up on Samsung

1.From the home screen, touch Menu
2.From the Main Menu touch Settings
3.Touch Phone Settings
4.Touch Security
5.Touch the grey box then enter the Lock code and touch OK, default lock code is usually the last 4 digits of your phone number
6.Touch Reset Phone
7.Touch Yes to confirm resetting the handset to the factory default settings
Before you reset your Samsung Caliber r860, make sure have back up
the important data. Then when you finish the reset, you can transfer the
data back to your device.
You may have to do a major reset on it. First remove and replace the battery and turn it on again. If that doesn't fix it, there is a tiny reset button on the bottom near the connector. You will need to push it in with a small point such as a paper clip wire.
