The problem must be with the CMOS battery. That causes the BIOS setup to not retain changes, including the system clock. Verify also whether the time is correct.

How to enable tpm in m2n68am plus motherboard

Hello the homepage is here:

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM2Plus/M2N68AM_PLUS/#download

But first select you current windows 32 or 64 bit.

Select the file you want and click on global for download.

I have seach in the files and a bios update should solve the problem.

I recomend to use asusupdate to upgade the bios.
If you are unfamiliar with that get a expert to help you.

Download first asus update and install it.
Next download the latest bios version.
Both files needs to be unziped before installation.

Open asus update and choose update bios from file
Select the bios file you just have downloaded typical a bin file
Click next and the program will do the rest.
You can do that while windows is running.

And remember DO NOT flash the bios with a wrong one
It will destroy the mainboard.

Remember to set up the boot settings when the job is done.

Good luck

I have an asus p6 x58d-e motherboard Bios ver.0303 . I hve installed 6Gb of RAM (3x2Gb) in triple ch. The RAM is A-DATA Gaming series - AX3U1333GB2G8-1G . I get this message at bootup saying "memok...

It means that every time the motherboard starts it tests the memory and it's OK. Go into the BIOS, disable the memtest and save all the settings. The easier solution is to load the default settings and after that change the boot order and save the settings again.

I m having asus k8v-vm bt no space for sound card

The Asus K8V-VM motherboard has an intergrated audio chip on the motherboard, Realtek ALC660. You need to enable it in the bios. If you do not have you're manual down load it from Asus; http://www.asus.com/Search.aspx?SearchKey=K8V-VM You'll also need Adobe reader installed to view the manual. Enter the bios menu. Open Advanced. See the top of page
2-21 in the manual. Set, High definition Audio to [Auto] Save and exit the bios. Also check out page 1-19. You can install the driver software from the Asus CD or download it from the Asus link provided above.
Realtek Audio Driver V5.10.0.5211 for Windows 2000/XP/XP 64bit. (WHQL)

Cheers'

Startup problem

you must be pressing F1 to continue after you replaced the battery, as if it boots into windows there is no problem with the bios, you may be forgetting to correct the time and date and save the settings. You need to press F2 or Del instead of F1 to get into the cmos settings
