You phone is having a hardware problem, this is why the phone is malfunction. Resetting won't solve this issue. Your phone is defective and this is not a fault you can fix on your on because it involves disassembling the phone and reading the panel with a ohms meter.
It is so unfortunate, but I would suggest you take the phone to a local repairman within your area or buy another phone.
