Question about Fujitsu LifeBook T3010D Tablet PC
With or without battery in with AC power cord plugged in. Lifebook will not power on at all. No lights or anything. Laptop literally just passed its 1 year warranty by 2 days! help? I was informed that it would cost $150 to diagnose and then extra to repair. This is ridiculous. Can anyone help me understand what I can do to diagnose or repair the issue myself?
1) Remove battery and power cord 2) press power button several times 3) Whack laptop on the bottom center 2 or 3 good times with the palm of your hand 4) Replace battery and plug 5) Power it up (may have to hold the power button several seconds)

Its really not that complicated. take it apart. be careful. there's screws under the keyboard that are hidden. and there are crews under little silver stickers close to the back (but on top) of the tablet. and if you don't take those out it could break the frame of your tablet very easily. but its usually what i call the 'starter board' that is messed up. i don't know how much a new one would cost, but just take that out. theres a few screws in that its self too. and then you have to unscrew only one side of the Monitor input. then the 'starter board' will come rite out. and theres a few cords on the left side that had to be pulled out. but thats no biggie. after that just replace it with a new one and you'll be good to go.
i do this stuff every day.
on that exact model.
and its no problem.

I got a Fujitsu Lifebook. They are garbage. My screen broke within the first week I got it. I reccomend a Dell.

My t series fujitisu lifebook t series is locked and a flahing lock with a number 1 inside is showing. How do i unlock my notebook ?

If you have a friend you has the same laptop, ask them to borrow their power cord and battery. Use your friends battery and power cord, and see if it works. If it does, good job! It may only cost about $100 or so to get those both replaced. If it doesn't you are in a lot of trouble, as it;s not easy not pull apart a laptop. I would reccomend a local technician. They may charge you less :)
