Question about EpsonNet Print Server

I have an epson sx425w printer/copier that I am trying to set up with my laptop via wifi. I get through all the set up and print the test page, which says "network is working correctly". But, also printed is the following "A router/access point channel conflict has been detected. If you have problems printing or scanning, improve your wireless network environment. If your problems persist,see your documentation for help and networking tips". I have contacted my network provider who say there's no problem and it should work. I'm running windows 7. I've tried uninstalling/re-installing all the software many times with no luck. I'm at my whits end as I've been struggling since last Friday with this.

i was having the same problem and just got off of the phone with tech support who fixed the problem for me,

go into system preferences
print and fax

there you should see the printer cx8400.

remove the printer by clicking on the - sign.

then re add the printer, by clicking the +

the computer will search for the drivers and install them.

that should have you printing like a champ.

We've just had the same problem, it seemed to have something to do with a kind of Epson drive, within 'my computer' folder, if you can see said 'Epson drive' within my computer, delete/remove it.
We then had to uninstall every Epson orientated software file within uninstall programs in the control panel, and then re-install the software for the printer.
It did take us quite a while to figure it out, but our printer/laptop/internet wifi network now seems to work, bug free!!

Two and a half minutes for each print job is certainly a long time to wait considering that you're only printing a Word document or an email. Some printers go into a standby mode when not in use in order to conserve power and once a print job is sent to it it then performs self checks and warms up before printing which can take some time. Does it still take two and half minutes to print a job directly after printing the first one?

May I suggest that you delete any old printers that you're not using from the printers option in the control panel, make the Epson your default and check to see whether you've got the latest version of the device driver for this printer installed on both laptops. Also make sure that the printer is installed in a stand alone capacity rather than shared from one laptop to the other.

Please follow the steps below to reset the protection counter effectively.
If you have any anti virus software, please deactivate first.
The resetter software (adjprog.exe) requires specific date to run and your anti virus will prevent that.
Make sure you printer is ON and connected to your computer.
Run "Start.bat" file.
This program will set your computer date to 12 Jan 2006.
Click "Accept" button.
Click "Particular adjustment mode" button.
Select on "Waste ink pad counter" and click "OK" button.
Click on "Initialization" button and the program will reset the protection counter.
Click "Finish" button.
Change your computer's date back when it prompted.
Reactivate your anti virus if any.

How do I change ink cartridges onEpson Stylus SX425W printer. Apart from lifting the scanner I cant see any buttons to press and the present cartridges wont move along to enable me to eject the black one.


Turn the printer on.
Lift the lid that covers the print-head mechanism.
In a few seconds, the print-heads will slide to a position where the ink-cartridge can be removed.
Then, "unlock" the ink-cartridge from its socket, and gently remove it.
Replace it.
Then, "lock" the ink-cartridge into place, and close the lid.
Print a test-page.

How do I get mt Epson Stylus SX425W printer to work wireless? I believe I have added printer correctly. Can only get pinter to operate if plugged into electric. No instructions on how to operate...


All that needs to be done is to install the drivers for your printer using the disk provided from Epson.
Then enable wireless/WIFI on both your computer and your Printer. Usually done with a button on the printer. Blue light shows it is enabled.

Then click control panel.
Right click on the Epson Printer and select to set it as default.

Now right click on this printer and select properties.
Print a test page, the button is found on the bottom right of the screen.

You could go into printer settings through start then select printer (Epson) program choose printer settings. Then change the default to black only or you can simply reinstall the printer software and by default will allow to print in black. This is if your are confused on how to use the printer settings
