You can use better antennas and or/ a new router. You may want to upgrade to the newest N Standard as it has very good range if your devices support it!

How can I use It wider range? ( not to extend another apple router but antenna or setup )

The airport routers have built in antennas and external antennas cannot be attached. For wider range, place the router high up and away from glass, metal, and stone. Try changing wireless channels to lessen interference.

Hi, i got my Plantronics BB903+ today, i test everthing out; sound system good, mic good but the range is less than 10 ft. In the hand book it say 33 ft. Anyone know how to fix this problem?

The length is 33 feet or 10 meters. Try putting your phone in your pocket when using the headset. There are some things that can cause interference in reception.

Good luck from Headsets Direct!

What is the 20/40 degree listening position narrow or wide?

johnledon1,
You can compare this the 45 and 60 degree listening positions for surround sound but it means just what you said, 20 degrees for a narrow field and 40 for a wider field. Just remember to listen to what your ears are thinking and not others are telling you as your ears cannot be wrong to you.

45 Degrees:
The speakers are half the distance apart from each other as they are from the listening position; i.e-10 ft apart but 20 ft away.

60 Degrees:
The speakers are the same distance apart from each other as they are from the listening position; 10 ft apart but 10 ft away.

In surround sound, the higher the budget film, the higher field degree is optimum but never more than 60 degrees where you can easily go down to about 25 degrees.

For music most people like a narrower field unless you like groups like Pink Floyd where sometimes they will sound better in a wider field.

My epson rx420 only prints the left hand side of any document ??? Can any one help please . many thanks

have you set the page setup in document is same with page setup at print setup. Some new epson printer use paper sensor to measure the paper width. If page setup wider than actually paper inserted, the printer will print only half page. example : Your document 10 cm wide, page setup 20 cm, and you insert 10 cm paper wide. It will print only half of 10 cm, 5 cm.

How to start wireless in Toshiba Satellite 1905 s 301

What you need first is to install the wireless driver for your wireless card in your computer. If you don't have one you need to purchase a wireless card.
Then read the following info to decide what type of Internet access you require.

Wireless connections to the Internet can be achieved by several methods and it depends upon the method of delivery by the Internet Service Provider in your location.
The most common is by DSL and cable, the modems that are used with DSL and cable connection can have a built-in wireless router. Your computer will require a wireless card to connect to the modem/wireless router and the range is restricted to approx. 100 ft depending where the wireless router is located within the building.

The laptop's wireless card can be a built-in device or a plug-in device eg a PCMCIA card or a USB device. and these can also connect to a wifi hot spot in locations such as McDonalds. Star Bucks etc.

There is another method that can connect into the Internet that uses a USB wireless device that connects to a G3 network, bacically a type of mobile transmission and the device is locked into a specific Internet Service Provider. This method gives a wider mobile range (even across states) of connecting to the Internet but usually at a higher cost.

Basically you need to see what the Internet Service Providers offer in your location. Beware of the costs of the various plans they offer in broadband speed, their download limits and the penality for exceeding the limits etc.

When you decide which method you choose, you need to consider setting up your wireless network securely to prevent unauthorized access.

Modem router advise

Have you checked your wireless settings in the router?

The default power setting is 4, you can try setting it to the highest, 10.

Also set the channel to 4,5,6,7, or 8. those have the highest output.
