You can set an option in the embedded web server to have the printer flush jobs after a certain amount of time. Open your browser and type in the IP address of the printer. Then follow the menus below to find the setting you need:

You willl find this under settings>security>Device security settings>job retention.

When job retention is turned on the default is never delete. Change to 4 hours or 1 week or whatever suits you.

HOW DO I SECURE PRINT ON MY NEW M3035 MFP PRINTER

The 3035 supports a pin printing method. This is done from the print driver. Start a print job as normal, if you have Word or Exel you cannot use the quick print option. Once the print window opens, click on properties which is right next to the printer model name. then click on the job storage tab, select stored job in the job storage mode mode and click require pin and enter the pin number you want to secure the job with. The driver will default to using our windows username as the username that your job will appear under on the control panel of the printer.Click ok and then complete the print job as normal. Then go to the 3035 and select job storage from the control panel options and follow the steps to retrieve your job.

If you are searching for even more secure methods, Cappella Technologies makes a product that will encrypt the data stream between your computer and the printer.

Open web interface of the printer and supply admin password.
As an administrator you should be able to navigate to the System Settings screen.
Select Document Filing Settings and navigate to the section Administrator Authority Setting.
Select Delete so you can delete forgotten print jobs (remember to Save the setting).
Navigate on Document Operation where you can see a list of existing saved print jobs.
Select the jobs to delete and go on.

you dont need to,try using the private print function within the print driver-but dont forget your passcode that you will have to give the print job. the job will go into the invalid print queue on the copier from where you can release it.

Document won't delete from printer queue after printed

Have you tried to stop the spooler service in services?

Option 1)
Click on start orb
Type in search window:
services.msc
click ok
Scroll down to Print spooler service and click on it in the right side window.
On the left side click stop the service and wait forthe process to stop .Do not close the window yet. You will have to restart it here later.
next delete the print job in the printer queue then restart the spooler service
Resubmit your new print job.

Option 2)
If that doesn't clear it, the next step would be to stop the spooler
service as stated above
Go into windows explorer
(Print job data is collected and stored in a spool file in the spooler folder.)

It is located in:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS

Your print job will show 2 files there Example below:
00002.SHD
00002.SPL

Delete the files located in there. There may be several of them depending apon how many print jobs you submitted. You will have to resubmit your print jobs all over again.
Next go back to services window and restart the spooler service

That will definitely fix it.

Have Z22 Palm handheld organiser, switched to preferences, security and tried to enter private entries, did not remember correct password and now handheld is switched on and completely locked. Cannot...

If you can’t remember the password, you can delete it from your handheld. Deleting a forgotten password also deletes all entries marked as private.

Here is the procedure to delete the password.
Be sure to synchronize your handheld with your computer before and after this procedure, so you can restore any private entries that were deleted along with the password.

1 Open Security:

a. Go to the Home screen, and then select Prefs .

b. Select Security.

2 Open the Incorrect Password dialog box:

a. Select the Password box.

b. Enter any password, and then select OK.

4 Delete the forgotten password: a. Select OK on the screen informing you that your password is incorrect.

a. Select Lost Password.

b. Select Yes.

4 Synchronize your handheld with your computer to restore any private entries that were deleted.

You will need to have a backup saved if you want to recover private entries.

Hp 2420 prints a ''job storage status page'' after each print job

If you have your software driver or print job set to save your print jobs to the printer and your printer does not support this, you will get that error and status page. Here is what the User's manual says about print job storage:
"The printer supports two distinct job-storage features that you can use to initiate printing from the printer control panel after the print job is sent from the computer:
● Proof and hold jobs
● Private jobs
Make sure that you identify your jobs in the printer driver before printing. Using default names might override previous jobs that have the same default name or cause the job to be deleted.

The job-storage features require 48 MB of RAM. For printer models that have less than 48 MB of RAM, you can add memory so that they can support the features."
