Question about RCA HD52W66 Projection Television
Open Fuse FL231 will cause your problem.
Posted on Dec 26, 2008
This problem is actually caused by fuse FL231 being blown. A common cause of FL231 blowing repeatedly is the resoldering the High Voltage transformer on the flyback board. The board you are looking for is, if you are looking at the tv from the back with the back open, the board on the left. The fuses are marked on the board. If you replace the fuse, converge the T.V. watch for a bit then you get the same problem, THAT is when you want to reheat and add a dab of solder to the points where the HV transformer is attached to the flyback board. I know this because of 2 VERY helpful experts on this site that helped me through this problem myself, One of those experts being Ladywinn.

Dual image problem is generally a convergence issue.
A repair of replacement of convergence amp IC(s) and
possible fuse device in power supply will be needed.Ask a
local repair shop w/good reputation what the cost would be.
