You need to replace the scanner lamp (cis lamp),you must unzip the scanner,is simple you undo 4 screws under the panel above the scanner and then another 4 and so reach the lamp.E225 error means you need to replace the scanner lamp.If i have been useful plese give me a vote :).Thanks

E225 is the error code regarding the CIS unit malfunction. First reconnect the flat cable to the CIS unit. If still problem is existing do the following steps in the service mode press "Additional function"," # "( to enter the service mode) Use the arrow keys to scroll to HARDWARE TEST, press OK Use arrow keys to scroll and select CIS TEST, press OK Now as shown in display press 1,2,3,4 and check if the CIS is glowing in White, Red,Green &Blue. If CIS is not responding, it's time to replace the CIS unit. If the CIS is responding properly do the following procedure.
Now dismantle the scanner section and apply a suitable lubricant( Silicon oil can also be applied) to the portion of the flat cable which touches the bottom plate and also to the portion of the bottom plate over which the flat cable is sliding.
