Question about Computers & Internet
Depends on the camera and the software that you are using.
Some software will walk you through a "wizard" on "what do you want to do" when you first open it. You can tell it to import movies or photographs and go from there.
Or if you want to do it without the software, once the camera is connected to the PC and powered on, the PC will see it as a device with a storage device. Simply browse to it, and you can copy and paste the files from the camera to a folder on the PC.
