You will need software that can re-set your windows password. Sounds like someone hack into your PC or some type of virus got in. This is usally the case. Try this software "Recover My Password" It is not free, unless you can find it online for free.

I got a computer from afriend and they dont know the password can i change it without a reset disk

If it is the windows password you can purchase software that will remove the administrator password. As this is a security option, I will not point you any further. If it is a hardware password, you can try a new hdd.

What Should We Do Before Forgetting Windows Password?

Maybe the life is busy. I found so many computerusers asking for windows password recovery. Do you thinkit is none of your business to do this right now? But I don't know so. Nobodycan know what will happen in the future. So, creating a password reset disk isthe best way to prevent you into the forgotten windows password disaster. Withit, you can easily reset your password and get access into Windows system.Still wait for what? Follow this tutorial to create apassword reset disk. With it, you don't ever have to worry about forgettingyour password again.NOTEHere I will take Windows XP for example. Other OS is very similar to do this.BEFOREcreating a password reset disk you have to prepare these:1. A floppy disk drive. 2. A blank floppy disk.3. A computer with Windows OS.4. Less than 5 minutes of time.5. A sober brain. Now let's begin:Step 1: Click on Start buttonand then Control Panel.clip_image001.gifStep 2: In ControlPanel , Click on the User Accounts link. clip_image002.gifStep 3: Inthe User Accounts pane, click theaccount that you want to work with, then click Prevent a forgotten password to start the Forgotten Password Wizardclip_image003.gifStep 4: When the ForgottenPassword Wizard window appears, click Next.clip_image004.gifStep 5: In the Current useraccount password box, type the password for the user account that youchose in step 3, and then click Next.clip_image005.gifStep 6: When the Progress barreaches 100% complete, click Next.clip_image006.gifStep 7: Finally, click Finish. You can now remove the floppy disk from your computer.clip_image007.gifNow you have successfully createda password reset disk. Label the disk "Password Reset" and your "user name" andthen store it in a safe and privacy place.TIPS1. Youonly need to create a password reset disk onceNo matter how many times youchange your password, this disk will always allow you to create a new one.2. The password reset disk containssensitive information While a password reset disk willcertainly come in handy if you ever forget your password, keep in mind thatanyone who owns this disk will be able to get access your account at any time, even if you change your password. So store this disk in a safe location.3. The password reset disk cannotbe used to reset the password on another computerThe password reset disk that youcreate can only be used with the computer it was created on.4. What the case you forgot the passwordbut didn't create a password reset disk. It's true that thereare many ways to recover lost Windows passwords without a password reset diskbut they are often complicated and time consuming. But windows passwordrecovery 6.0 is now popular in the market because of its simple manipulationand high quality. It is safe and could 100 percent recoveryour password.

Iccan't access my Google orGmail account,I reset my phone and I got a new phone number, can you help me

First you need to use computer to double check if you can access your google or gmail account by logging in. If you can not log in to your google account or gmail account by using computer that means you enter wrong password. This can happen due to your google and gmail account has been hacked by another person who did logged using your password then after they logged in they changed the password and so on ...your profile info has been changed too.

If you can log in to your google or gmail using computer that means the problem is not your google gmail account issue the problem is your phone ( hardware problem) if you did reset your phone how do you reset it ? soft reset or hard reset ? Hard reset is reset and restore to manufacturing setting it would erase all of your personal data and restore your phone back to original setting. If you did this step but still having problem then i recommend you to borrow any smartphone ( from family member or your best friend ) use that phone try to access your google and gmail account. If you use difference phone and you can logged in and access your account then ...no need to say it is your phone having a problem ! Change to use a new sim card to see if problem fix if not ......then i think it about time you need to get another new phone.

Good Luck.

Daughter changed password And can't access computer this screen keeps coming up every time I power up

She did more than change your master password, it looks like she erased most of you OS (Operating System) It would be worth taking it down to a reputable computer repair place and having them have a go at it. The might be able to save your files to put back on it once they reinstall an operational OS. Good luck.

You will need to do a reset to erase the password, this will erase all the stored information you inputted on the phone (phone numbers, pictures everything). My advice? figure out what the password is, think what would you use as a password and try it.

Can not remember window's password, also Admin has been disabled. How can I unlock it?

The Windows Login Password can be changed only if you have an access to Windows.

If you have another Admin User Account, you can try logging into other account to change the password.

If the computer is not booting to windows, then you can perform system recovery to restore the computer to factory settings.

The system recovery process will erase all the data in computer and restore the computer to factory settings.

You can restart the computer and press the F8/F10 key at start up to access the recovery partition. Once you access the recovery partition, you can perform c drive recovery in your computer to resolve this issue. Below is the link with the details to perform system recovery in your computer:

Hello i have dell vostro 500 i forgot the my system bios password pls help to remove the password pls

You can set two passwords

1. Setup password, used to access and change settings
2. System password, used to restrict access to the system

If you have set the first one, which is asked only if you press F2 and try to access setup / BIOS settings, and if you can still go to windows, download the latest firmware for this computer and execute it. This will update the firmware after erasing the old settings, thereby erasing the existing password also. Ensure you do this process when your battery is fully charged and also with the power adaptor connected and on. During the process if the system powers down then this will turn your motherboard faulty and it can only be replaced by Dell.

If you have set the second one, which asks everytime you start your computer and waits in a black screen for a password then you can only get this reset by Dell, if you have warranty call them else using another computer write to them.

Can't unlock my ibm thinkpad t23

Your computer has been protected by a Power On password.
If you didn't set this password then ask the person who set the password on the computer.
This password is near impossible to crack, try various names, pets, kid's names, family names/places, street names etc. There are no back door passwords and the password is not stored in the BIOS and removing the BIOS battery won't erase the password.
The password is stored on an EEPROM chip and you need electronic knowledge to build an EEPROM reader, then pull your laptop apart, solder the reader to your laptop, connect the reader's connector to a working computer, and run a program to read the contents of the EEPROM, identify the password from the downloaded data, unsolder the reader, put the laptop back together, boot up and insert the password. You can now enter the BIOS and change the password or remove it.
For further info goto http://sodoityourself.com

The Power On password and the Hard drive password are designed to prevent unauthorized access to the laptop and the data that is stored on its hard drive.
Removing the hard drive from the protected laptop and inserting it into another laptop will not work, you still cannot access the data on the hard drive without the correct password.
