Possible that the filter is clogged on the ventilation fan and must be cleaned and reset.
So remove the filter and clean , check for dirt or obstruction. Check the free flow of the fan to the lamp, if the fan is faulty or not running to the desired speed to cool.
Restart and allow the lamp to be cooled externally to confirm.

Mitsu hc3000 problem "red-green status light blinking and no input"

Heres what the manual says about REd / green lights

Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet and contact your dealer

And also this:

Check that the lens cap is removed.
It may take about one minute for the lamp to light up.
The lamp fails to light up on rare occasions. In such a case, wait for a few minutes
and then try again.
If the projector was turned off before the lamp was cooled down suf? ciently last time,
the fan may start rotating and the POWER button may not work after the power cord
is plugged. After the fan stops rotating, press the POWER button to turn back on the
POWER indicator.
Check that the intake vent is clean.
Set SCART INPUT in the FEATURE menu to OFF. (See page 25.)
Check that the lamp cover is closed. (See page 33.)
Check that the cables connected to the external devices are not broken.
When an extension cable is being used, replace it with the supplied cable for check. When
images are displayed correctly, add an RGB signal ampli? er to the extension cable.
Check the operation manual of the video device for its connection.

AFTER AWHILE TURNS OFF

Locate and monitor the main supply output voltages from the power supply---is one going high after a while--excessive or low output will trigger the latch or shutdown circuit all sets have.

Also suspect a possible issue with poor or bad solder connections anywhere in the set--tapping sometimes will confirm this.

LCD Display Shutdown After Few Seconds To Few Minutes

Look at the caps in the power supply first, that will be the start.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, blown fuses, poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed HP monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Tv problem

you have a bad board, maybe the power supply/deflection board, maybe the signal board, to troubleshoot this problem you need a qualified tv repairman. or you could replace the whole board yourself, the power supply board is about $200, the signal module is about $500, i'd start with the cheaper one, or hope the repairman can fix it at component level.

Sony LCD Projection TV turning OFF.....help!!!

Look carefully at the front lights. Usually when these sets shutdown they have a blink code on either the standby light or the lamp light. Update this with those counts. In the meantime, you may be seeing a problem with heat. If the lamp area gets too hot, the set will shutdown the lamp. Once the area is cool again, the lamp will fire.

Update this and we'll hopefully fix the both of them.

Lamp goes out

Check your fans, sounds like a thermal shutdown. The fans are 12vdc with a sense line. Red and black power, blue is the sense line. disconnect the fan connector and check the fan with a 12vdc supply. then check the sense line for signal feedback.

Display goes black after 5 minutes

Repairing the DELL E171Fpc LCD Monitor with the complaint of display shutdown after few seconds (power LED still on) was not difficult. Normally when this type of problem happens, we would first suspect the inverter board, then the filter capacitors and lastly the main board. A defective in one of the lamps and a faulty TL1451AC PWM IC or inverter ic may caused the display to shutdown as well. If the lamp is defective, it will send a feedback to pin 3 or 14 of TL1451AC IC and caused it to stop producing output signal thus the display just shut off once you switch it on.
