Re: It says charged then won't work!
Sorry to see it has taken a while for some one to answer the problem it appears you are experiencing with your camera. Have you tried to switch the modes from webcam to camera? If that does not work have you tried to take out the battery for a full minute then put it back in and restart it up?
Let us know if you have solved this problem since the last time you have posted. I'm eager to hear if you found a solution to it or not.

the pc function means that it is connected to your computer this is good because now you should be able to upload pics and ect...the red light is simply to show its charge level and is always on when plugged in to computer also there should be a switch on the side to change from camera to charge if its on charge and the light is red then its carging and it will turn green when its done.
I just bought one of these and discovered that someone had punched a hole through the software CD to hang the package on a peg! I found the driver and successfully loaded it from the following website.
It appears there is an issue between the battery or the charger cord. If you have had your battery for a long time and use the charger for prolong periods, it can actually burn out your battery quicker.
To prolong the life of your battery and make sure it works properly it's best to run it out entirely, then recharge it. Charge it for the suggested time frame, not any longer, as that can sometimes do something worse.
See if you can track down another replacement battery. If you have had your battery or set for a while now, over a year or such, chances are its time to get another one...
Red lights are a sign of uncharged or battery issues....
Keep us posted and good luck!
