Question about JVC Televison & Video
This is what is called a convergence problem. It is a fairly common problem. This is where one or more of the colors do not strike the correct positions on the screen. There is a special circuit built into the television that controls this very function. If your blue is very close to the other colors it may just need to be adjusted. If the blue is very far away you probably need to replace convergence IC's (or transistors depending on the circuit) and do an alignment on the unit. Check the owner's manual on how to adjust convergence, but only if the blue is SLIGHTLY off from the rest of the colors. If you adjust it and it turns out parts need to be replaced, you have just shot yourself in the foot and the final adjustment will take more time and/or end up costing you more because of additional time required because what you have done must be undone in order to align everything. I hope this helps.
