Make sure you are pluged into the sub pre out and not the six channel line in,its a easy mistake to make.

The reason the fuse blew again is that an overload has occured. It could be a faulty part in either the power supply section, or the amp section. Follow the curcuit from the fuse, be on the look out for damaged, burnt parts, suspect anything on a heat sink.

Tell us a bit about your NEW RECEIVER. I'm sure the manual explains how to set up and direct bass to a subwoofer.
Basically, you have to inform the receiver it HAS a sub, then you define the ability to share bass with it, then you adjust relative loudness with a test tone and you're off.
