well first of all, the reason why customers are filled with demands is because they want to have full worth of what they're paying for. you and me already have been customers ourselves too, so this should'nt be so hard to understand. =)
the thing to remember would be to not let their requests, demands get over our heads. its just work, and if they get mad, its mostly not at you but with the demand that they cant get. so i guess a matter of explaining to them why you cant entertain that unreasonable demand that they have and if they still refuse to listen for the 3rd time, its time to end the conversation. ask in a nice way "is there anything else i can help you with?" . that should send the message to the demanding customer that the issue should be resolved and you listened to her demand but theres no way that you can give in.
