Safest iis to get a 220 to 110 transformer... like:

You only need the smallest one but you might consider further devices you might want next size up.

Connected alesis sr16 with alesis 110v power 240v mains...........briefly powered up and then nothing. Have I "fried" the adapter or the sr16?

Look carefully at the adaptor and see if it takes any voltage besides 110 (it will say in very tiny print, you will need a magnifying glass). if it does NOT say 220V or 240V then you friend the adaptor. Get another adaptor - most are "dual" voltage meaning they run in the U.S. or overseas.

Also check for "polarity" (which part of your plug is + or - ).

I connected it to 220v, but the power supply is the US one (120V). Is there a chance that my ESX still works?

• Power Supply should be checked first by a multimeter

then the ESX will follow.

other option:

• Borrow a working power supply adaptor one from a friend,

just to determine if it is the ESX , the power supply or

both ( I just hope not )

Once determined , you can either repair or replace

the AC/AC power supply

Let us know how it goes

I am having a problem with my Zoom RT 223, When I go to edit a factory pattern it says on the screen (tick) nothing I every saw before. I can no longer go into change the key or effects or bass program....

Not sure what exactly you're dealing with from your description but as far as editing a preset pattern or one of your own just follow the manual and record or erase what you want-if you describe things more clearly be glad to help, use it all the time.....

Ampage for 9-volt alesis sr-16 drum machine adapter

Here is a link to a discussion about this that will help: A 9 volt A.C. 3.2 amp power supply should work for you. Just remember A.C. not D.C. is required.

Europowre pmp 3000 a120v or 220v?

There is a jumper (JP1 or J1). If you cut that jumper, the mixer will operate for 220V. This power supply is the same with the ones used in desktop computers. I did that to my mixer bought from US made for 110v. I replaced that jumper with a switch (from a desktop power supply), I made a whole and I fixed the switch on the pack panel of the mixer. So now, I can switch it manually for 110v or 220v. It's working perfectly. I tested it for long time and no problems. Good luck.
PS. I called the Behringer technical support in the US and they weren't able to teach me that. So I figured it out myself after a big research. See the pictures about my project. :)

Not working@ full pwr.I just got a new power supply I plugged it in the wall , in a short time the pwr supply got hot.. is there a way to reset it?

Sounds like you got an incorrect power supply OR the SR16 has a failure creating too much load.

The power supply should be a 9VAC at 1 amp (1000 ma)

The power supply MAY get warm to the touch but should not get real hot.

Without the SR16 pluged onto the power supply it should barely get warm. If the SR16 doesn't work, then it probably has an internal failure... LIKELY the internal rectifier filter combination.

The drum machine goes on and off, and I think the problem is at the connection from the power cord into the SR16. I think I need a new power cord.Or is there an internal problem at the connection?

It sounds like the adapter jack in the Alesis has a bad solder joint to the circuit board .This is a fairly common problem with all modules that have external power supplies and is an easy fix if you feel confident and are good at soldering.

Alesis SR-16 distorted sounds

The distorted and low volume output plus noise is usually caused by using the wrong power supply adapter. The Alesis SR-16 takes a 9V "A/C" supply not "DC". The A/C supply provides a negative voltage swing which wouldn't exist with a DC supply. So check and make sure you have 9V A/C output supply not DC.
