SOURCE: Amp does not power on, flickers when cable disconnected.

With your multimeter set to DC volts, the black meter lead on the ground terminal of the amp and the head unit on (so the amp will have remote voltage applied), touch the red lead alternately to the B+ and remote terminals of the amp. If the voltage drops below ~11 volts, you need to check the wiring feeding whichever line is too low.

SOURCE: Why does my KAC-8404 cut off at high volume bass?

My uncl had the same problem and he went back to the audio shop twice...Then called me...I discovered that the powr cords they used were not thick enough, giving the amp a low current to work on...but if you have the original cords you got when you bought the amp...it might also be a weak power supply....try playing the music while driving on a high speed or while reving the car to give more voltage from the alternator...If that doesnt work...come and shoot me please...im out,PEACE

SOURCE: To bridge a Kenwood KAC-9102D

Hello laurogleal,

The Kenwood KAC-9102D is a mono amp. There is no bridging. Having two sets of terminals is just a more convenient way of connecting two subwoofers. The amp is stable down to 2 ohms impedance, so it is safe to run 2 4 ohm loads in parallel.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: kac - 929 kenwood 1000 watt amp

Does it do it when car is not moving? If it does'nt then it is a bad connection in the amp itself or outside the amp. Check all your external connection well, it is easy to pass a bad connection up without knowing it. I recomend checking every connection, redoing the connections. Then you can rule that out and may find the problem. If connections don't fix problem let me know i'll be glad to help. I have my own amp repair business and people send me there amps from all over the U.S. Just send me a message and
I'll take you thru some steps to diagnose the amp if problem persists after connection checks. Good luck, hope to hear from you!

Red Light

that means you probably have a shorted speaker wire, a bad speaker or the amp itself is bad, try disconnecting the speakers one at a time and see if it turns on or not. if the red light stays on with no speakers hooked up it means the amp is bad

My back speakers wont produce any sound

OK I believe there is a small indented "Reset Button" around somewhere on the back of the unit, With the unit powered ON, & using a small diameter implement, straightened paper clip etc, press IN the button and this should "Reset" ya unit. This may indeed fix all your problems as the Unit "Reads" the speakers at turn on.
