If you are getting suction through the cleaner, but it is not moving around, you probably have wings or shoes improperly installed. If the pool cleaners shoes look worn or are not installed properly, this will happen. A copy of the users manual is below. Check to make sure that they are installed properly. You might also need to adjust the rear tension flap. Finally, even though you think your suction is good, make sure that there are no obstructions or leaks that would cause movement failure.

My hayward navigator doesn't walk

not a problem with return pressure. navigators run off suction pressure. ensure proper suction from skimmer or designated suction line. then check the hose attached to navigator. put a new hose on, if this works then the hose was issue.....if no difference then replace the navigator

Interesting question. Do you have the special Lead Hose, the one with a colored cuff attached to the Navigator itself? Other causes can be, too little or too much hose, a pinhole leak in one of the hoses above water causing the hoses to float, not enough suction on the Navigator. You didn't say if you have the Navigator plugged into a skimmer or in a dedicated suction port in the wall. I would first try increasing the suction to the unit and see if your problem doesn't go away.

Brand new Aqua Critter, won't move at all? Checked filter, checked hoses? Still will not move? Now what?

It looks like my cleaner. While it is hooked up to the filter, lift the unit, keep the suction side under water and flip it over. The feet should be moving. Feel for suction on the inlet on the underside.
There is a waterwheel inside the suction. Is it rotating? Is the suction hole clear, sometimes stones, acorns or other solid items get stuck in the suction that stop the water motor.
If there is something stuck inside or if the wheel is not moving, on my unit there are a few screws that can be removed to inspect inside. Naturally before doing this, disconnect the cleaner, drain it and take it to a location where it can be partially disassembled to inspect.

You have check all of the things that I would usually recommend when these pool cleaners are moving properly. My additional suggestions would be to make sure that your hose is not too short (adding lengths of hose if necessary) and to check for steering failure. Check and clean your rear screen, make sure that your cone gear is operating smoothly in all directions, and clean, repair, and replace (if necessary) your gear box.

Navigator sticks to the bottom of the pool and won't move. I replaced the turbine and the A frames are good. Will new feet help? the current ones are worn.

The feet might be the problem, but more than likely, you have too much suction on the pool vac. There is a suction gauge that comes with all new cleaners and most pool stores will have them available (maybe as a loaner even) to allow you to adjust the suction to your pool cleaner.
Try adjusting your suction to your cleaner to reduce the amount of direct suction to the cleaner to see if it operates, but if your feet are worn, you should definitely replace them.

Take it apart and make sure it doesn't have trash in the wrong places or broken gears, also check the other end of the hose and make sure you have suction at the unit.
