Question about Sony PVW-2600 VCR
There is a problem on the mechanical loading system of your recorder this is often cause by a dislocated timing gears some are cause by a foreign objects that blocks the movement of the mechanism. to resolve this problem open the cover and have a close look to the mechanism remove any objects that might block the mechanism.Re align the timing gears replace any brocken/damage gears.be very careful when dismantling the mechanism this task is not easy if you do not have any background in electronics I would suggest to consult a skilled technical personnel to do the job for you. good luck and let me know if you need further assistance..
