Question about Computers & Internet

There could be 3 problems
A) the speakers are broken
B) if its a new pc it probably has a sound card with 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound capabilities so you might have plugged it into the wrong port
C) since it is now this probably isn't correct but your port could be broken
To see if its problem A simply get a new set of speakers and plug them in see if it works If its B then make sure its pluged in to the green input and it says "out" not side center or back if its C return the comp and get a new one
And btw make sure you check the port with the old one and the new one to make sure that even thought you plugged it into the right port it didn't work because it was broken
